How totally beautiful. I think that some of us watch not because we don’t know how, but for the sheer pleasure watching another artist laying down that wonderful colour, utilizing their own signature technique. Not to mention the great feeling of being part of something that is shared. Knowing all of us are learning from each other. Thank you Rachel. And you are very welcome. I did wind up getting Small Victories, and chose not to spiral bind it because I could tell it was simply too tight to the spine.. and they gave us the better stitched binding in the US which they never did previously so I felt it wouldn't fall apart. It's annoying since I'm used to the binding on all my other books folding around and laying flat, but it is small enough to fit on my lap desk without hanging off everywhere. I've only done the "the end" plate (in Derwent watercolor pencils) and it was lovely, then ruined it with a white gel pen, then rescued it with a Prisma blender which takes gel pen off quite well while leaving the pencil underneath. I find a lot of the book quite similar to her previous work, even to the point of almost duplicate pages. I'm hoping her next project will be something truly new.. I'd love another storybook.
I have managed to chip off white pen with another pencil too - glad it worked for you.

good question! It is probably 5-10 hours on average including the colouring I do in videos!

I don't usually work at night
