@danedwards8535 I'll hit with quad ought steel wool. First rubbing, harder to smooth the bone, then fast and light to give it a hard surface. Then I'll polish it of a buffer with medium (gray) polish. I'll remove that and polish with a flap brush using (green), which will give it a deep, high polish. 🙂
First off thank you for 2 videos today!! Nice score, happy you got one!! 6392 is my favorite Case stockman size (I don’t have a 6344 yet so TBD) I agree it really carries better than my 75 so if you laid them down side by side and said pick one, 92 all day.
@johndilday1846 Yeah, the Moose patterns were the original Texas jacks, then the 75s. Recently, I saw a case called a 32 pattern, a Texas jack, which doesn't work at all. Any 2 bladed jack that's around 4 inches or better would be correct.
Nice knife ! Love well maintained users. I got a hand full of traditionals users . Three are mine from new . 4 I have picked up during the years . Yep got the fire wood stacked . Two kerosine heaters . West Georgia , cold here . One thing that youngins tend to do: not bringing warm clothes in their drives… lots of folks got in trouble with that. I’m from northeast Ohio. I know what it’s like to get stuck in a snowstorm on the interstate!!! Back about 10 12 years ago I was stuck for 24 hours just a couple miles from my house, ice storm in Georgia bout a hundred cars stuck behind few big rigs that couldn’t make it up a small hill .
I like the carbon stockmans the best. Weather may be turning back to normal, it’s supposed to be cold . I’m 50 miles south of Nashville and back in the 1960’s it always got down to zero and below for 2 or three weeks in Jan and Feb . I walked out onto our pond and chopped 5 inch thick blocks of ice out so the cows could drink . One winter there were 13 separate snows that kept us out of school and we missed so many days that we didn’t have to make them up 👍.we didn’t see the sunshine for 30 days . All said it still snows often in Atlanta
@Jimthechevywheelman I was born and raised in Miami. But have lived in Pennsylvania and spent a lot of time in the cold. Southern folks just don't understand how fast you can get into trouble when it's in the teens and single digits. I spent many a cold winter day running the back roads of Ohio in a semi. Wide open snowy fields dotted with snow-covered farm houses. Deep blue ponds reflecting the sky. Just beautiful. ❄️☃️🙂
I was not familiar with the model 92. That Stockman was a good find! I hope you show it again all cleaned up. I love Stockmans in the 3 7/8" to 4" range. They get the job done without being too big or heavy.
@@rasputinscastle If I come across one I'll pick it up. I do love that size of knife, especially since it is carried with a larger modern to cover all the bases.
Love your videos bro... Must be late for this one... Lol.. Still... Nice video 🙏👍✌️. Just bought my 16th GEC...a 6318 SS Stockman red bone, a 1981 case xx bird & Trout Knife.. (small game hunter) bidding on 2 Moore Maker 3100udp,and the 3101udp fixed blades... check these out... Great knives for the price... 👍🙏✌️👏♥️
@davidstalter6006 Got my seventh GEC last week for a reasonable price. Beautiful 68 in cocobola. The Case Finn knife is on my wish list. I'm trying to decide whether I want it in that combo sheath or not. Thanks for the heads up on the 3100. I'll check it out. 👍🙂
Beautiful knives
92; gotta remember that. Another pattern I wasn’t aware of. Thanks for the info👍
I have yet to get my hands on one of those TSC 47's, but I want one.👍That 92 is a great looking piece, buddy!
@davidkurle5418 The 47 is my favorite. For me, 3 3/4 is the perfect size. Its 3 7/8 frame feels great in the hand.🙂
When you show us the clean up of the new 92 (3 blade) please let us know how you shine up the bone scales. Fabulous knives Sir

@@casexx94 Amen! 😀
The 6292 is my all time favorite Case pattern. I have several of them. Where I am from, they are known as the Texas Jack.

@LastChanceKnives You'd like the 92. It's much lighter than a 75. 🙂
