Thank you! I just fixed my Wowgo3 hub motor board that had a loud clicking noise on one of the hub wheels. Put Permatex “Synthetic Ultra Lube” brake part lubricant where you suggest. Stopped clicking noise 100%. NICE!!!!!
Dude, you are a boss! I have the V2P and it does the same exact thing. Meepo isn't responding to my emails, so I thought I'd never come across a solution. I can't wait to try this out, thank you!!!
They'll respond eventually. It's a small Chinese company. Literally like 12 guys. You're better off going with Boosted or Evolve. My cousin waited 8 weeks for any response from them after buying a new board then canceled his order. You kind of get what you pay for
Mare I won't know for a couple more days. My family and I are in the middle of moving, but I'll be trying this no later than Saturday. I need the board for work, so it won't be long. I'll let you know ASAP.
Mare I wouldn't worry much about the clicking... I don't think it's hurting anything at all, and it's not that noticable. It's a great board, you'll love it.
I think that this sound is coming from the covers coming loose not the sleeve. I took the covers off and stood on the board and rolled back and forth with no sound. Then I use blue loctite on the screws and put the covers back on. Now not sound. I had recently put oil on the screws because they were rusting and then the cracking sound suddenly appeared because they were coming loose.
Have just had this problem on another board took a while to figure out. What I did was clean and swap sides . Seems to have fixed only problem was bending over and twisting to listen while riding I fell off so now board fixed and me a bloody mess.
I put contact cement in the grooves. Let it dry and make sure the loctite has 24 hours to cure before riding it. No clicking and works good and solid. I will just replace the whole motor if I have to.
For me, the rattling sound come from the PU that unglued himself from the aluminum because of the heat from the road and the motors. That create a gap between the two at the beginning, now the PU just slip on it and can get out of its location witch is really dangerous, i can't ride anymore. Kieran send me a pair of remplaçable PU but i hope I will find another brand that offer better quality PU that i can mount on my V2p !
I ended up using a metal saw to cut and pry it off. It looks like the tolerances are really off for these. Next time I'm going to use a file to take a few millimeters off the inside of the grooves to try and fix it. I hope this helps.
I just discovered a clicking around same area . Im considering removing motor from truck axel because I noticed that when riding the noise isnt immediate , but when it does start if I move my weight off of rear section to front half of deck noise stops almost completely. "PERHAPS" ( word of the day. Pretty good Ehh?) a small piece of the axel shaft sheared off inside where shaft meets motor. In my case to me it sounds more like a sharp object would click, while a tire I would guess have more of a "Visquishy "Visquashy" sound. (Inside joke to all that know ) Only my opinion. If and when i find the cause of click I will post somewhere or everywhere, but not nowhere!!!. Till then
Thomas Champagne it was actually in the Meepo Facebook group. I'm also still having the issue as well... This helped but only for a few miles...I will edit the video info to reflect

Thank you for demonstrating this! Can you post another video detailing the results of your lubrication of the PU?

I have this problem with the wowgo that I can remove the put tyre. Do you have any tips on how to remove it? I've tried oil but no success.

Having the same issue. Did you figure out what the noise was from?
Nice i'm still having the problem. I will try that. What's the reddit link FMI?

Thanks. You should read this one so: www.reddit.com/r/ElectricSkateboarding/comments/8tngdx/meepo_v2_issues/. Your feedback about it is welcome :)
Looks like there is another swappable pu out there and I have a feeling that is apart of the issue. Go to their website
That’s a waste of time and money. That is a no moving part .
Dude underwear !
Grease would probably work too..
