I dont understand that hate aswell. Seems to me that many people dont understand anything about art and cant really free themselves from the constructions they see all the time around them. Their brains might be to connected to what they are used to see.
That's doesn't make any sense. Pagani could change the design anytime they want like they did multiple times with multiple editions of the Huayra. Plus it just means Pagani was more ready for a roadster version.
When I first saw the picture of the Utopia with its Beige and Red Interior, or whatever its colors are called, it exceeded my expectations for automotive design. I truly saw it as a masterpiece of art. Amazing!
3 cars stand out to me recently. 1. 2025 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale 2. BMW Concept Skytop 3. Bentley EXP 100 GT I love how Pagani stays consistent with simplified and luxurious interiors. The Utopia is gorgeous.
I think it's a brilliant design all around. The way the shapes flow into each other is gorgeous, and with a closer look there are tons of lovely details for your eyes to fixate on. The only problem I have with the exterior is the window over the engine bay at 8:40, it looks a bit plasticky in this photo and doesn't integrate with anything else around it. For the interior I think the Huayra did it way better, the shapes in that one have way more emotion and I feel like there's something off about the dial setup in this one.
When the Utopia was announced, I thought the car was a massive downgrade design wise from the Huayra with the Tempesta package, I wouldn't still call it Ugly, but it certainly is a downgrade...
Hello, it would be interesting to know what do you think about Singer Vehicle Design? They seem to do a great job of working out every detail too. Thank you.
Hood looks too static and some curves in the front and the mirror-design look a bit too art-deco for me. Also some interior pieces a bit too much like in the machine room. But the rest is absolutely amazing !
I think it’s an amazing looking car however, it more looks like an updated zonda rather than a completely new model. To me, it looks more like what koenigsegg did with the cc850 just in zonda form. I’m also not a huge fan of the interior
Super beautiful and very advanced car design. However, I simply can not understand the choice of using leather straps to hold body parts together. This detail is cool on certain parts, but when used on the outside of the car - I can only imagine how bad they will look after a couple of drives in the rain. Why? Besides this, everything else is a masterpiece.
The color of a car of this caliber can either make or break people's initial perceptions when it's unveiled and I believe the launch color for the Pagani Utopia did not do it justice. I was able to look past the launch color and took in all of the Utopia's beautiful details.
The coupé in black carbon fiber looks stunning ,same as the roadster version. My biggest letdown is, ironically, the square A/C vent on the dash ... Everything is round and organically shaped , the shifter is a piece of art , then you see that thing , like you'd see in a Ford Puma or a Citroen C4 ... Looks like an afterthought. Maybe I'm becoming maniacal, but when your name is Pagani , expectations are set very, very high. In a 3 and a half million dollar car that took almost a decade to be made I DO NOT EXPECT to see light mistakes being made . Also , not to forget the "Aliexpress LED kit" used for the dashboard (see Goodwood festival onboards from 2022/23) , I mean , why , just why ?!
I think the issue with Pagani personally is he is less conservative than his rivals in his designs. Yes his cars do keep some uniform design elements like the quad exhausts, etc but the Zonda, Huayra and now the Utopia all have significantly different design intensions were as most of his rivals just tend to try and refine their existing style.
I told you that all the people that said they didn’t like this design would flip and alas here we are. “It’s grown on me” means you didn’t try to understand the design when it first came out
Sad that sketching a car is going away. The passion, the energy, the organic feel these designs have are going away. It’s just CAD art with weird sharp angles and boring minimal interiors everywhere.
Horrid car. Horacio just could not leave it alone and had to tinker and tinker until it all went sideways. In a way its good when you have your own company and money you can make what you want, so we get "single vision" cars and that is good, but at the same time looks like Horacio surrounded himself with "Yes boss" men and nobody was there to slap some sense into him.
I have many concerns about Pagani and all his car designs. Paganis work on the legendary Countach with all the plastic stuff (spoilers, wings, bumpers etc.) was a real crime to Marcello Gandinis genius design. And the interior of all Pagani cars seems to me like strange toys, designed with no taste. I'm not a big fan of Pagani. There is a massive lack of clean lines and reduced sculpture. It's to complicated and to much stuff on it. Maybe to justify the enormous price tag but it's not my taste.
Sorry, Pagani is too much focussing on Art! I'm a Petrolhead, rather enjoying Porsche GT3 RS or new Corvette ZR1 than a 3-5 Million Euro Pagani... with permanent Fear, something filigrane will break on the car...🤪😱🥴😜
I’d take a 3 pedal piece of art any day over any RS or C8 corvette that ditched the manual option. Maybe an 911 S/T? Either way with dealer markups you’re paying serious money for a euro 3RS or C8 ZR1. Those aren’t cheap either. That’s not counting tires assuming you track em’ which is what the 3RS and ZR1 with aero package are made for. They’re all weekend cars for the rich. Once you get past 300k (mark ups) you’re comfortably in daily/weekend car territory.
@@okemefulachidera5440 I prefer the amazing analogue Gauges of the Bugatti Tourbillon! But in General I prefer classic analogue Gauges of 911 GT3 RS!!!!!😎👍
Its still an ugly looking Huayra. The Huayra already looked like a Zonda that gained weight. This car looks like Huayra gone woke. It's just over done. Futuristic retro people call it. What!?
I never understood the hate on this car.
I absolutely love the retro futuristic design of the utopia.
@@K3b1bisLtu retro futuristic is the perfect description

One of the best designs ever on a car. Absolutely a gorgeous art work
Sure, the design might be a bit busy with all the features, but altogether it is an absolute treat to look at
Too Early to unveil the Roadster Imho. In the Huayra the Roadster was basically a facelift. A total upgrade
Why is it too early? They just did it differently with this one
That's doesn't make any sense. Pagani could change the design anytime they want like they did multiple times with multiple editions of the Huayra.
Plus it just means Pagani was more ready for a roadster version.
It looks so good as a roadster. I don’t understand the hate of the utopias design. I love all the paganis
Everything looks amazing except the headlights.

I agree with the engine cover after you pointed it out. I feel like an aluminum engine cover with carefully designed openings would have been better.
When the Utopia was announced, I thought the car was a massive downgrade design wise from the Huayra with the Tempesta package, I wouldn't still call it Ugly, but it certainly is a downgrade...
I will not be surprised finding this car in a scary movie
Hello, it would be interesting to know what do you think about Singer Vehicle Design? They seem to do a great job of working out every detail too. Thank you.
The Utopia Roadster looks much better than the Coupe version, mostly because the headlights are no longer in the same color as the rest of the body.
Think of the American cars of the 50s. Art on wheels ❤️

you are the morgan freeman of industrial packaging
The Pagani Zonda R has those same fins in the front bumper
wonder if it would be possible for you to review
the BMW M4 Adro Bodykit
Alot of people dont understand the Pagani design language, the rear wing and line around the exhaust resembles the Pagani logo
My only problem is the glovebox area in the interior
I think it’s an amazing looking car however, it more looks like an updated zonda rather than a completely new model. To me, it looks more like what koenigsegg did with the cc850 just in zonda form. I’m also not a huge fan of the interior
I had that One:1 picture printed out to hang on my Bedroom when I was a kid. Good old Koenigsegg vs Bugatti fanboy days.
Art Nouveau is right. If you look closely you could see the Art Nouveau whiplash curve here and there.
Paganis thing of selling a hand crafted concept car is pretty unreal.

You'd get your mechanic or Pagani service centre to change those over when they start to fray
It looks like a deep sea animal through those head lights everything else is perfectttt

In a simple way it's destcribed as
A piece of art❤
I like the design, I don't like the goofy little straps and buckles.

I get why these cars are cool, but I haven’t understood what people see in the design. Just looks like a formula car to me
If Hector Guimard helped to design a car.
This Pagani makes the Bugatti look ordinary!
The headlights r horrible. It looks like a front that was squeezed so hard its eyes r popping out. Too bad Pagani generally has subtle headlights.
4:08 squeens
Yes the Pagani is beautiful, but is too traditional
ngl, as a machinist, 28hrs to machine a single steering wheel seems a bit to much
If it was made of an ordinary piece of aluminum that's cheaper to replace than repair then you'd be right.
