@@Grafeeti2 because u cant run 2 similar runeglass. what that means is if i attacked someone with bow and then rapier, only one dot would apply. also, i benefit more off of the 100 int passive since my weapon is more ele on light attacks
Definitely agree on the pants. The 40 points into Strength, Dex, Int, and Con makes it to where you don’t need to consume to have all your stat perks. Everyone is leveling their pants right now so doing the quests are easy.

Not a Bow player but always enjoy your content! Struggling to gear for FS IG in my limited play time. All my old 625 (675 in OPR) is working though lol. I had the OPR kill high for like a day at 61 (solo queued) in the 3rd day of S3
Playing a bit around with the bow this patch and I found nimble pretty helpful! I play with alacrity and in combination with nimble you have a permanent haste :) but playing with evade instead of flèche, so I need the haste but have more burst in melee but less damage on ranged attacks

I wanted to ask what do you think of medium vs light armor for bow/rapier right now? I’m running a shirking heals build with ankh and tumbler feetwraps and the sustain is just incredible. I know it might get nerfed but I’m still up in the air between medium and light armor.
i think for arenas med bow with ur setup is REALLY good, especially with spear. imo, light just feels too good - esp since medium doesnt decrease your dodge to 40.

i know most knowledgeable players are definitely runnning over 20 thrust. personally, im running 35% thrust resi. even though phys might do more damage from a basis standpoint, theres too many variables to say which is absolutely better. 350 dex 150 int 150 con is BEST for rapier/bow. 100 str 350 dex 50 int is BEST for Spear/bow or others.

With magnify there is a lot of problems, and you cannot spec anymore 350DEX/150INT/150CONST. At least you cannot separate the attributes that way because of the magnify
Returning to NW after bailing 1000+ hrs after launch. I am having fun and the crazy thing is- I have never played Bow in this game and, play ranger etc almost always in other games. Is this still going to be viable after the patch today? Or should I hold my currency for a bit? I am always a day late to all the fun lol.
I don’t think refreshing toast is worth anymore, it’s 2sec less on a health pot. I’m going regen, healthy toast, healing heartrune. Think this is max health regen w/o the shirk heals/ankh bs

Would you say Elemental Aversion is better than Enchanted Ward? Trying to pursue a set but not sure how those perks compare to each other. I'm playing musket and it sounds like stacking 5x aversion would be better against other bows/muskets.
7% honing stone, 7% ring, 15% tactics, 10% RG = 39%; Are you not better off with mortal emp to fill the remainder because harnessing clogs cap as just ice/nature/arcane for 40% of your weapon dmg and a few stacks of mortal is easy? Also attuned leather pants (150 int) works out to a 60/50 split on attacks; With featherweight go 50 int, 50 str and youre 66/44 on heavies Physical side gets resisted more but even empower capped considering all ele dmg as empowered and 33% thrust (cap minus RG/ring empower (no harnessing so with harnessing even more narrow), against somebody with 30% thrust resist, the dmg difference is 3.4%: 10% Base Heavy (50 Strength) = 66/44 Empowered = 88/66 = 154% 33% Thrust Resist: 61.6/66 = 127.6 25% Ele from 100 & 150 int = 60/50 Empowered = 80/75 = 155% 33% Thrust Resist: 56/75 = 131 This isn't taking into account ele resistance because people don't gem ice/nature/arcane but opals exist and people run elemental aversion - damage difference narrows even further when larger ele split. Featherweight is 5% EHP as per Mecrow's new video and fortify is better as well so shirking fort instead of harnessing and a good chunk survive at effectively same dmg. The only thing you get with the pants is 15% more explo damage at the cost of being squishier. EDIT I forgot about RG on weapon, 25% on weapon RG could be a lot but need to test - I don't imagine that pushes this into favour though (I have 800k and inductors set aside to force BiS so I'm doing as deep a dive as I can, your opinion would be quite valuable as I've been following you as a bow guru for a while)

if u reforge an item, lets say i crafted the item with matteria but the perk is wrong, but i put the expensive gem in it so i could use the piece until i plan to reforge for the final perk, will the gem be lost?

Hey I bought a lot of gear from the kiln but all with magnify.. braindead af..but I guess there is no way around to get some dex items so I can do the 350dex/150int build right? Bcs with allmagnify I’m at like 480 dex an nothing else 🫣
i heard theyre going to change magnify in the future, so hopefully thats true. it is a very fucked up system imo and having normal stats was better but just hold onto the gear for now.
If each piece takes 3 chromatic seals to upgrade and you can only buy one a day, how does this gear set work out in 4 days. I like your thought process on the gear selection, not going to debate you there as there's about 5 schools of thought on what BIS is for bow and VG for me is not it. I just don't see how this gear set can be done in 4 days or less.
Would this build do good in pve aswell? Maybe not level 3 mutas, but mutation 1, elite zones and stuff like that? Rly like the theme behind the build, but I‘m much more of a pve player
Sorry for noob question lol: the syncretic musket is nature attunement instead of ice. Is it better to farm a different musket and put ice attunement that one? Also, for musket, is it better to use t2 int gem or t5 int gem if I have a bunch of harnessing boosting ice damage? Thanks in advance!
If your musket dropped legendary with nature attune you can reroll it to ice in the furnace, or farm a 2nd syncretic to have both. Sounds like yours dropped with attune that's very lucky!
theres no lightning attunement which is why lightning wasnt really an option, but u definitely can make it work. i just know for sure no one slots ice resist.

Idk mate how u r pulling that much dmg from a bow. Mine tops at 3k (thrust+ice, crit penshot) with an almost identical setup. And can't really push the stats to 150 con, maybe with some mythril, but it's far too expensive.

Why don't you use an Augmented Frozen runeglass in the rapier? Instead, you are using Frozen IV?
Why not use all opals? Helps against elemental range and the casters users also. With Thrust protection on amu

nah i got lucky and hit health on 2 pieces. on the last piece im just going to chromatic in the far future

For the heartrune, is it the cannon or stoneform? The site says stoneform but in the vid you have cannon

I bought a lot of gear from the kiln but all with magnify.. braindead af..but I guess there is no way around to get some dex items so I can do the 350dex/150int build right? Bcs with allmagnify I’m at like 480 dex an nothing else 🫣
i heard theyre going to change magnify in the future, so hopefully thats true. it is a very fucked up system imo and having normal stats was better but just hold onto the gear for now.

If each piece takes 3 chromatic seals to upgrade and you can only buy one a day, how does this gear set work out in 4 days. I like your thought process on the gear selection, not going to debate you there as there's about 5 schools of thought on what BIS is for bow and VG for me is not it. I just don't see how this gear set can be done in 4 days or less.
Some of them are probably drops that he didn’t have to upgrade. I had a full 700 set in a few days of running mutation and getting 700 drops.
It kinda moved a little fast for me.. did the explosive arrow damage get spilt to ice?

The initial ability damage gets split yea. The dots always deal the same type of damage though.
What about to use the Ice Bow with Keenly Empowerd from Sirene???
u need keenly jagged for The Finisher damage to proc.

Sorry for noob question lol: the syncretic musket is nature attunement instead of ice. Is it better to farm a different musket and put ice attunement that one? Also, for musket, is it better to use t2 int gem or t5 int gem if I have a bunch of harnessing boosting ice damage? Thanks in advance!
If your musket dropped legendary with nature attune you can reroll it to ice in the furnace, or farm a 2nd syncretic to have both. Sounds like yours dropped with attune that's very lucky!

i think its honestly fine to play arboreal attune. some dmg bonuses dont scale to attune.

theres no lightning attunement which is why lightning wasnt really an option, but u definitely can make it work. i just know for sure no one slots ice resist.

yes. but the gear is mad expensive. plus the whole reason i can play ice is i dont play poison

@@joaoarruda779 its not guaranteed but possible to roll. i lucked out and got health. its a decently high chance. if u really wanted, u COULD continue rolling until u got health with materia, but id recommend just playing what u have

Idk mate how u r pulling that much dmg from a bow. Mine tops at 3k (thrust+ice, crit penshot) with an almost identical setup. And can't really push the stats to 150 con, maybe with some mythril, but it's far too expensive.
