I did my own wireless motor pole AT Mount and after a month of use i had the very same problem with the transducer moving freely around, that's gong to be an ongoing issues, i hope customer support last long enough for the next breakage, It still work but the play was too much for my headache and went to a precision pole mount system insteat.
I have been researching which electric power pole to get for my livescope. Thanks for the video with this issue. If they have updated this part in future kits I would definitely be interested in it. Last thing I need is to be fishing a tournament and it fails

I’m having a issue with in not turning both pedal and head unit is getting power to the lights. It worked perfectly the first 3 hours of fishing. I check the fuse and the relay clicks when engage it.
You would have less issues with the new part you installed coming loose if they had put the second set screw at 90 degrees instead of 180 degrees. Also, if they had used longer set screws the hex key depth would have been deeper and provided better gripping power which is important on smaller sized set screws to keep the internal hex from stripping out. Just something that may help in making a good product even better.
I'm having problems with getting my livescanner getting power. I've plugged directly into a 12v lithium battery 125amh. I've got a ionic battery. I've opted out of the remote option. But get no power . Positive is red. Negative is black and ground.
Hey Travis!… Did you get this figured out?… If you have red to positive and black to ground I’m honestly not sure why you would not have power to it… I’m sure you probably already have but I would check to make sure all connections are secure and if it’s still not working I would reach out to them and see what they say… Let me know how you make out!
Hi! I have had the same problem as you. I changed the part for the blue one but I have the problem that by fixing only one screw on the flat part of the shaft (instead of two) it ends up slipping. I think that this part is not completely valid. Do you have the same problem?
I think that the two screws need to be fixed 90 degrees instead of 180 degrees, as the original piece.
Hey Javier!…hmm, that’s strange, I haven’t had any problems at all since swapping out this piece… it completely solved my issue and I’ve talked to a couple others that did the swap and it fixed it for them as well… I would shoot them an email and see what they say, they are great people to work with and hopefully they can get you squared away!
Hi what’s the purpose of the live scanner other than viewing different directions? I have mine mounted to the trolling motor and I’m not getting a good picture. Can see my lures or fish at all. Not happy. Please help if you can. Thanks
Hey Troy!… I actually just posted a video on the channel about an hour ago showing how it works on the water and the huge advantages it offers… I would strongly recommend looking into it, not even comparable to having it mounted on the shaft of your trolling motor… Check out that video and let me know if I can help at all!
I have the live scanner . Haven’t had it out yet. Do you support it while travelling. How is it under your cover. When I bolted it to my ghost with the 4 bolts on the bottom . It sits on an angle a bit not straight with the shaft of the ghost. Did you have the same issue?
I’ve actually been thinking of ways to support it or add a stabilizer bar for traveling longer distances and in rough water, but as of right now I don’t… if I come up with some way of supporting it I’ll make sure to let you guys know!…I’ll double check when I go out to the garage tomorrow, but I’m pretty sure mine is fairly straight and lined up with the shaft of the ghost…looking at the pics I have in my phone it looks pretty well lined up…hope that helps!

Is the new part stronger than the original ? If not they need some type of stabilizer for the pole I think.
Yes sir, much stronger!…it’s a solid piece, I don’t expect any issues at all with this one…and I’ve been thinking of some way to add a stabilizer just for my own piece of mind when towing longer distances, I’ll keep you guys posted on what I come up with!

Completely unrelated question. I saw in a video that you have a PP gateway for your charge. Is it worth it? Does the gateway have its own power supply of does the existing NMEA 2000 provide power
Thanks Tim, I appreciate that!…yea rough water or long road trips with all the bouncing…that new part is much more solid for sure
And yea absolutely, I love that gateway…it’s nice to be able to view your batteries right on the HDS units and know what’s goin on at all times…you just plug it into the NMEA 2k network with its own “T” and you’re good to go, no other wiring needed…hope that helps!
