    2 Wheel Dyno Works has a video up on how the New 1100 makes just as much HP as the previous model, but makes more torque through out the RPM range. Also the 2025 comes with S23 tires not S22, 260mm rear disc, rear caliper is now positioned on top of disc. They went back to the older (possibly better) chain adjuster. Better IMU calibration, plus smoother quickshifter up and down. It now functions from 1500rpm. Taller 5th and 6th gear for better fuel economy. Heavier handlebar ends and foot peg weights. A lot of changes really.

    Nice comparison of the 24 to 2025 1000 vs 1100. Interesting that the HP was adjusted but more torque. Both cool bikes, thanks.

      I think they were forced to do this for Euro emission standards and made the torque a bit more usable at lower revs;

    Of all the reviews no one has mentioned how they've changed the chain adjuster from the concentric adjusters that automatically did both sides at the same time to block adjusters that require adjusting each side.

      That's probably why the brake caliper is now above the disc instead of below did wonder why that had changed 🤔

    What is the big black box on the left side handlebar of the 1100?

      Two boxes on the left you may see sometimes - one is the USB and the other a phone holder (in the UK, unsure about US). USB looks like an ugly last minute add on especially with all those cables showing. Bike though is excellent and will likely continue the best touring, comfortable, sporty heritage that the 1000SX created for Kawasaki;

    TFT out dated too small that plastic contraption stuck on the handle bars looks cheap and nasty, Kawasaki can do much better than this,I’ve a 2017 SX in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 GB I’ll stick with it, this isn’t worth the cost of a upgrade,

      it's a big leap over the old 2017, the engine is rubber mounted for a start and there's no vibration in the mid-range or top end like the 1043cc - they're like night and day to the old 2017 model
