Never FAILS I search and your video shows up on TH-cam!!! Thanks again!!! The gift that keeps on giving. Merry Christmas! Need to replace front headlight covers what a surprise you happen to have a video on how to easily adjust the headlight beams!
Please don't blind other drivers. Per the service manual, the wall you're using should be 25ft away from the headlights. You measure headlight height on your car, then adjust it so the light on the wall is 2.1 inches lower than that of the headlight on the car. So if the center of the headlight on your car is 30 inches high, when aiming right at the wall 25 ft away, the light should not go any higher than 28 inches.
I don’t have a Manual. I’ve always adjusted 5-15ft away from something, zero issues. But if you want to get all technical. In this vid I observed the light movement and to Be honest, I’d say I went at least a few inches tops higher. Plus these are eBay lights, so they are a bit different than oem. They take more turns to adjust than oem because they aren’t machined 100% correct.
@@TheGerbsteve 5-15ft away is WRONG! You may not have any issue, but guess what... its not all about you. Respect other drivers and do it correctly so you don't blind others... shame on you for promoting the wrong thing AGAIN.

@@SATO_FD2R you are 100% right.. that's why he should do it at 25 feet. At 25 feet he would angle it up to the correct height. It doesn't matter how tall or low the car is if you have it aiming at the correct location at 25 Feet ( but you knew that because you're soooo smart lol) . That's why you adjust it to that distance. So a tall truck may need to lower it to the correct spot and a low car may need to raise it to a correct spot. Like sighting in a scope. You da man! Saved me from many hours of trying to figure out how to aim my lights; thank you!! I just got custom housings with projectors and they are a bit low.
Always good to have this kind of content up, sometimes those screws are hard to find - and when we find them, they're broken! By the way, some aftermarket headlights can only be adjusted with hex drivers/sockets, and it's a pain. Cheers man!
I mainly made this vid to show you all where the adjustment screw location is. Ik! Mine are aftermarket, so they’re somewhat different than oem, especially the molding where the bulb turns into.
it really have to be horizontal ? like, the passanger one its supposed to be a little higher because of the road signs right, and the driver one not to high because of the against hand getting offuscated (i traslate that on google, sorry if its wrong, i'm trying not to make mistakes hehe), right ?
@Gerb My FA5 took a tow-hitch to the front bumper do to a dumb ass backing into me.. Question is my insurance is going to fix it but since my paint job was done by me are they gonna try and match paint or repaint the stock color? Thank you!
My aftermarket’s had to be adjusted with a 10mm ratcheting wrench; had to take out the coolant reservoir on drivers side and easy to get to on passenger side
how long does it normally take per light for it be noticeable that they moved. i think mine are off like 4ft or so….and ive cranked em but they werent lowering
@@noneovyerbusiness4909 so it does cause on my passenger side light my low beam it's like pointing upward and the high beam it looks like its pointing almost to the ground do you have any idea to fix this thanks
Actually you don’t want the headlights even. The driver side should be slightly lower than the passenger side so your low beams don’t shine too much in people’s eyes.
I understand the point you're making but this is incorrect advice. Oem low-beam reflector and projector housings have what's called a "dipped" beam which shapes the beam to dip it lower in the direction of oncoming traffic. This is on the left and right side so it is important that they are both adjusted evenly and at the correct angle. In a left-hand drive country the beams should both dip of the left side. The cutoffs should look like this: ,,,,/'''' ,,,,/''''
probably comes like that factory to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. well.. slightly to the right. shouldn't be majorly aimed right or anything.. if it's misaligned left/right most likely it was previously removed during some kinda of repair.
