      Financial aids depend on your visa status. If you have a green card/US citizenship, you are eligible for federal loans. Private bank loans are available both in India and US with/without a co-signer. About your other question, INBDE is not held in India. It can only be given in US or Canada.

      No, universities offering this particular Advanced Standing DDS Program do not offer scholarships or aids to international students. Just federal aids to green card holders and citizens.

    Hello mam...do you have any idea about the validity of NBDE part 1 & 2 .....I passed both part 1 & 2 in 2016 & 2017 respectively...I don't know whether they are still valid or not

      They are valid for a lifetime, until the board asks you to give them again. I think you’re good.

      There’s no limit to the marks. Those marks are the percentage you earned during your BDS.

      Yes, it is percentage we earned during BDS. Since USA has a GPA system, companies like ECE help us convert that percentage into GPA

    I cleared my neet..my score is sufficient enough to fetch me good college..but its really difficult for me to leave home town..my situation does not make it easy ...so if i select an average college..will it affect me for dds or mds abroad??

      College does affect a little bit of GPA but not much. It does not matter. Percentage matters more in terms of GPA.

      Unfortunately, yes. You can maybe try and club the exam and interview in the 6 months that you go (if you get an interview).

      If you want to pursue dentistry in Canada, you’ll need a PR to pass the license tests. If you are not planning to do dentistry, MDS is pointless

      Hi, I’ve not heard about this, but it may be possible. Maybe you will need to go through the traditional route. Do email some universities and ask them and you’ll get a clearer reply.

    Ashna Maam, don’t we need an extra degree after BDS to apply for DDS since the competition is cut throat right now? A filler degree like MDS or anything else for thar matter?

      No it’s not necessary. Filler courses help but there are many things you can do to make yourself more competitive.

      @@arzookhan5797 The GPA is out of 4. There is no eligiblity criteria for GPA for giving examination. However, for admissions, universities usually want 3 or more. If you have less, that can be worked on as well.

      Prathima Burri It does not depend on the percentage. You can contact ADA or download the guide from the ADA website to know more about eligibility.

      It is totally subjective whether you want to take any coaching or not. My suggestion would be to check out sample papers, then analyse whether you need further help from coaching or not. My contact details are in the description.

    I scored 54 percent marks in bds with two attempts and 63 percent marks in mds first attemp,what would be the gpa in my case?

      Hi, GPA really depends on the university. But I’m assuming it would be around 3. You’ll have to submit your documents to ECE for evaluation to know exact GPA.

      Do American banks give loans because Indian banks won’t give 1.5 Cr loan without security.

      @@sahilagrawal16 American banks do give loans. You can reach out to both Indian banks and American banks after you get admission and choose what loan you want to take. Most of the American banks want a co-signer, i.e. a citizen who can give a guarantee but some banks don’t need that.

    Where is dds fee mentioned, all r not ambani relatives i may have highest gpa but i can afford only nbde part1 fee
    I don't have any big shot people in us that i know except my principal who is 100 km away from city like bangalore

    Madam I read GPA of 3 is needed... So if we convert our percentage into GPA like how they say online(/100 and multiply by 4) ... First class marks are on the low... Am I right?

      you need to get it converted after you complete the the course. Agencies like ECE does it for you where you have to pay. Also USA accepts ECE certificates which are directly sent to them by the agency themselves and not some third party conversions

      Those online conversions are usually for engineers and not dentists. The conversion is more based on credits. A first class would probably be higher than 3, around 3.5. Companies like ECE and WES convert the GPA and would be more reliable sources.
