- New Bottega Veneta Teen Jodie bag - the best Jodie bag? Possibly! I love this size, though there are a couple downsides to share 💕

Things to consider -
1. Cannot fit on my shoulder, but I've seen others more petite than me fit the bag on the shoulder.
2. Not the most practical bag for my lifestyle, but I don't mind.
3. Where to put it when going out to dinner? It's so cute, but too big to sit on my lap. I would also be careful taking this out for drinks because of spills. Also, not the most practical bag for running errands.

Thank you for this review; there's not a ton of videos on the teen size. Yes, I too am a crazy bag person and think about all the things you mentioned 😊🤣 I really want this bag but I am still thinking about it! I wish it could go over the shoulder for versatility, but I am usually a crook of the arm kinda person anyway. I completely agree with you, now that I have a growing collection, I want to get more special and unique bags. BTW I live right outside Philly!
Ah we probably live close by if you're on the Jersey side! It would be convenient if it could fit on the shoulder, but I'm usually a crook of the arm (or crossbody) kinda person too. This bag is so beautiful. I'm curious to see if it becomes more popular with time! 😊

Thank you for the look at the new Jodie. That's the size I always wished they made! Loved the mini but could hardly get my hand in the darned thing. The big ones looked like a hobo bundle (like you were running away from home!).
😂a hobo bundle! I suppose they are called hobo bags for a reason. This is my goldilocks size too!
Love your video. I'm so glad you love your Jodie! I have the size up in the washed teal and it has a big zip pocket inside which is very handy.
I've just packed mine away for the winter as it's definitely a spring summer color, I had a good look at it and other than a tiny bit of dirt on the inside (which came off with a wet tissue) there's no discoloration anywhere on the bag and I put mine on the floor in restaurants, in my car, peoples houses etc, even on the ground outside my house and it's like new.
I'm also very tempted to get another one, in a dark color. I hope you enjoy using yours all through the winter .😁 👜
Thank you! I'm very tempted to get the size up. That's wonderful that it's holding up so well! I've been so impressed with Bottega leather, and I can't wait for it to get soft and slouchy. The fondant is a year-round color for me, but I would use the bigger size mostly in fall and spring. 😊

This bag in plum would be amazing! 😍 I definitely double up on bags i use the most often. If it works for you, go with it! Also - have you ever tried those bag hooks so you can hang you bag from the table? Might help some of the restaurant situations.
That's a good idea. I really should have one! My only hesitation is the hook is often quite small, and I'm so obsessive haha! 😊The jodie handle might be too bulky for the hooks I typically see, but I'll look around! It would definitely be useful with other bags.
The style of these bags is timeless to me On my hypothetical wish list is the largest size in the eggplant plum color (my favorite color). I'd be open to the mini as well in a pop of color, but the fuss factor is a question for me.
I completely agree. This style is a beautiful timeless piece! I can't imagine getting tired of it or feeling like I'm too old/young for it. I'm hoping to find something in purple or green from Bottega eventually!

Thanks for the video this bag is on my wishlist. A couple of questions question does the bag slouch a bit when you put your things in and are you finding that the leather is softening
Thanks for your questions! The bag does slouch a bit when my things are in it. I really like the look it gets. The leather hasn't changed in the month that I've had it. I'm sure it will soften eventually, but nothing noticeable yet.
I've been using mine since spring and it has softened, it's not quite slouched yet but I'm hoping by the end of next summer it will have.

Thank you! I do still love it. The lambskin leather has softened, but it still has great shape. It's not the most practical bag I own, but it feels so nice that I don't mind 😊

It's fondant. The true color is hard to capture on camera, but it's so pretty in person! The strap drop isn't enough for me to wear it comfortably on my shoulder. I've seen girls more petite than me do it though 😊

Regarding the lifetime warranty, I don’t see any info on their website about it. Would you know if it extends to preowned bags?
I haven't been told an official stance from a sales associate, but I wouldn't count on it. They give you card and paperwork to support the lifetime warranty. I was told that if I ever lost these, it wouldn't be a problem because they can look up my purchase history on my account. It sounded like you would need proof of boutique purchase. I love my one secondhand Bottega hobo, so they are still well worth it for the right price imo! 😊

I don't even think a small jodie would fit a macbook air, but it might warp the slouchy moon shape if it could squeeze in. That's just my guess from trying it on. A teen definitely wouldn't. A small would fit a ipad. The teen size is my favorite, but the small holds more and fits on the shoulder. Not the best computer bag, but it's great for everything else! Hope this helps 😊
