Beaumont Gibbs are delighted to offer this Victorian terrace house to the market. Situated nearby to Woolwich Common and Shooters Hill itself, the property is in a fantastic location and is full of charm and character. The property offers flexible accommodation over three floors. The master bedroom on the top floor was once two separate bedrooms, which could be put back into such with relative ease if wished. Still retaining so much of its original charm, with a beautiful cast iron fireplace and overmantle in the lounge, original ceiling cornicing, high skirting and stripped wood flooring, the house has a real homely feel about it, which you simply must go inside to really appreciate. The owner has found a property to buy and there is a complete chain too.

What an interesting home. It has lots of fun quirks and seems well maintained. There are enough small projects to let a new owner make it their own, but nothing you couldn't live with for a while.

Beautiful home. The problem with older properties is the layout is not great for modem living.

what is up with the British needing to turn living room and dining room into bedrooms that and not cutting there yards.

Respectfully Raymond, unlike the USA, Canada and suchlike, the properties in the UK are considerably smaller in comparison and normally terrace, whereas in those countries they are normally detached and on much bigger plots of land, so you do not have to move rooms around to get what you need from them. As for not cutting the garden, we cant agree, as this garden is well maintained in our opinion.

I think they leave the fences or walls covered in foliage a lot of the time to disguise the fact that the yard is so narrow.

I would think that the lounge has been turned into a bedroom for a mother, as the children in UK have respect for their parents (family) that being an assumption.

@@BeaumontGibbs. The garden is in keeping with its surroundings mature.

USian, but I have spent a bit of time in the UK. The English gardens are common. I find them beautiful. In New England this trend is growing.
