Thanks for your advice! I turn 30 next year and I'm in a place where I have to start over. I was wondering how to deal with the feeling of it being overwhelming? when the gap between where you want to be and were you are feel immense? where to start when ALL of the areas of your life need change?
Its hard being 40 because everyone expects you to stop being cool and fun. And they just want you sitting at home taking care of kids. My 20s were a swashbuckling adventure and I lived abroad 3x, my 30s achieved alot of career succss while continuing to travel tho I was based in a single city, but I hit 40 and I never ended up dating someone long term (I tried alot, trust me). Now it seems everyone just wants me to give up and just wife any woman up, sit home and pay bills. But I would rather move abroad again, work remote and then maybe meet someone I really like. Some of us cant be fat old guys playing golf. I still love edm music fashion culture too much
I can relate to a lot of what you said here. I'm living my 40's and love edm music :) I spent a lot of my 20's and 30's thinking, living under this implicit presssure of societal/cultural expectations and coming to my true self as i hit my 40. There is no similar path for everyone, I think the best way to live is to live how ever you want to or like. There is no right or wrong, just enjoy the journey. Have a nice one!
A couple of years ago I moved to a new Province here in Canada. Honestly this has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. The trope of moving to a new city and reinventing yourself is real, at least to a point.
I’ve watched many of your videos (unfortunately I fell behind in the last several months so I can’t say “all” of your videos 😬) and I think this is your best one yet. Great message, great tips (I’m glad it was a list of 3 and not a list of 10 😅) and great execution. Thank you very much for all that you have done and continue to do. Excellent work.
Thank you Christine, that means a lot to me, as I feel like my videos are the most authentic they have ever been. Grateful to have you on the journey with us! 😊🙏🏻
@@midsonshort in terms of creating a new theme for your life…any tips on how to incorporate or apply it to your daily life…any tips on how to get started? Also regarding changing your environment, do you have any tips for when you have to stay put for some years and if your budget doesn’t allow you to travel very much? I know these are complex questions and I am not expecting a response per se but just thinking out loud just in case you happen to have some feedback/insight. Thank you for listening!
Great to stumble back to your channel and videos! I'm re-evaluating my life at the moment and its making feel like more doors are closed than open being in my mid 30s, thanks for the optimism!
@@midsonshort getting a collective boot up the arse to move abroad and start again something I’ve been thinking about for a long time. I don’t know why I’ve stayed where I am for so long. No family and finding out who my friends are in my mid-40s. Thank you.🙂
I turned 41 last month and just started a photography course because I was feeling stuck and needed a sense of pursuit or achievement (haven't done much up to this point, certainly haven't met society's standards for a man my age), as well as something that's creative and I can take ownership of. What's interesting is that it's gone beyond just wanting to achieve a goal to more of a need on a psychological and emotional level. It's one element that contributes to my overall wellbeing/life satisfaction. Enjoying the videos mate 👌🏾
I really appreciate the calm vibe of your videos and how there's no hate or rage baits, I feel like I can listen and understand even if Im in a relationship, I still like your content very much and I listen to you while I work❤
I'm not even even my 30s and 40s but this advice is massive for anyone, really puts into perspective that life isn't linear

Everyone is on a separate journey........answers come from inside you.....watching a strangers video does not answer your OWN LIFES challenges....
Very true! Wishing you the best on your journey my friend. 😊🙏🏻
Helps though. @midsonshort
