- Beat the Blanks with a Bass Session!
When the sea is on its head OR your only body of water is fresh, it's time to target Largemouth Bass. Kingfisher's Reaction Stretch Floating are 100% Biodegradable which is vitally important in protecting our fish and our Planet. They're softer and more stretchy than any regular soft plastic meaning you will get more hookups.
There are 3 different Rod & Reel combinations for targeting Bass depending on your level of experience. From the Daiwa Silvercast 80 button reel, ideal for youngsters or newbies to the "grinder" reels like the Daiwa Ninja for the intermediate (and more versatile, fresh & salt water) to the baitcaster for the more serious Bass Angler.
Ray Thompson demonstrates how to rig each of the varying Reaction Stretch Floating soft plastics, what sets them apart and which hooks to rig them with and why.
He goes on to show which Rod & Reel combinations are available and their feature and benefits.
Here is the list of what you will see in this video:
Soft "Plastics" : The Kingfisher Reaction Stretch Floating.
Reels: Daiwa Silvercast 80; Daiwa Ninja 4000 & Profish Baitcaster.
Rods: Daiwa Sweepfire 6'6" 2 piece; Daiwa Laguna 6'6" Medium 2 piece; Daiwa Exceler 7' Medium Heavy 1 piece.

I love fishing rubber worms especially flukes and senkos weightless and let them sink slowly to the bottom. Not possible to fish this way (weightless) with the Reaction floating worms. Not really an advantage for me having a floating plastic range other than for frogs
The advantage is they're 100% biodegradable. Just a different method to use the floating, but way Ray rigs them is deadly in our experience. Always nice to try different methods to see what the fish want. Tight lines.
