    I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.

      The pandemic came and taught everyone the importance of having multiple stream of income, unfortunately having a nice paying job doesn't mean you are financial secured anymore. So we all need to put in an extra-income earning chance, like investments.

      I agree with you, Covid taught us the importance of having a plan "B" income. You are not safe with just one paying job, when nobody knows what will happen next. Look at what happened to so many of u...

      Investment is that tiny line that separates the RICH from the POOR. The foolish from wise sorry to say. I can proudly say I am wise today because I can provide for my family through my investments.

    I know someone who had purchased a laundrymat for an inflated price. The owner of the building sold it and the taxing authorities reassessed it at the sales prices. Well the real estate taxes went up $10,000. Well, there went the profit. Later on the overpriced business was sold at a loss of $350,000 or so. Beware of "triple net leases" . Property taxes and CAM (common area maintenance) is paid by the tenant or the business owner. Well, if buying the land and business would be possible this problem wouldn't exist. Now it is a seller's market and with all the overseas money laundering going on, buying the building and land may be too expensive. You could buy building and land outside the major population areas, but then your sales may be lower and you may have to buy in a desert or very cold climate. All the nice areas are already settled and be prepared for cut throat competition from people who live in very crowded conditions or sleep in back of the business , which could be illegal in some or most areas.

    ok Good video, but I don't think certain businesses are suffering as you imply. The reason is uber eats and doordash keep them going. subway does a lot of takeout now

      Why is it small restaurants always get started by most immigrants? Sure I know the high tech startups bla bla bla. Most restaurants have lots of competition. Even the same food! Pho and ramen shops or bakeries. They are competing with each other and people are starting to tighten the belt. The foreign food thing may just be a once a life thing. We all go back to the usual food. Plus get some attractive waitresses. I don't eat out to look at men. I've heard of some Vietnamese business with the waitresses showing some T & A. May work in some areas. You have to differentiate your business from the competition.

      I think Mexican restaurants can survive longer than Asian restaurants. The Mexican ones sell to everybody even the local population. The Asian restaurants mostly cater to themselves and will take your money but may not really want you as a customer.

    Hi
    I’m a uk citizen and want to apply for my e2 visa, I have just set up the business and bank account and nearly have the 100k to transfer. My question is how long will the process take and can it be expedited, my business partner won’t be able to expend his business or employ new staff if we can’t have this sorted asap, I also have to employ 2 members of staff and have trucks ready to be shipped out there.

      I don't think the amount of cash matters much.... even 100k is enough but it depends on your new business profit margins. The new business profit margins needs to ensure will be more than just living. Not your existing funds

    • @ns-rz2gj
      @ns-rz2gj 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to move to US through your brother it's a VERY long process: 1. Your brother needs to wait 5 years as green card holder and then apply for US citizenship. 2. Once he gets the citizenship he can apply for a green card for you through I-130 petition. The problem is you need to way a looooooong time. At the moment the waiting time for I-130 petition to be processed is around 13 years. So.... let's say your brother he is already a US citizen... and today he submits the I-130 petition for you... the petition will only be processed about 13 years later, so in 2034. Search on google about I-130 petition for brothers and sisters
