Eliane is from Sao Paulo. got known by playing in Rio with Jobim & bossa nova gang in her 20s. went to the US to study jazz at Juilliard School, never came back to Brazil, good for her. she has a daughter, singer Amanda Brecker, from her first marriage to Randy Brecker, American trumpeter, flugelhornist. Eliane is one of the finest jazz pianists of our time, composer, arranger and singer. a gorgeous singer. Tiago Michelin is a Brazilian drummer based in the US and Manolo Badrena is this extraordinary percussionist born in Puerto Rico, known by playing with "The Weather Report", "The Zawinul Syndicate" and Ahmad Jamal, among many great others. "A Little Gossip" is a song by composer Mitch Leigh and lyricist Joe Darion for the musical "The Man of La Mancha" (Broadway 2002) sung by actor Ernie Sabella. sing along: A little gossip, a little chat A little idle talk of this and that I'll tell him all the troubles I have had And since he doesn't hear at least he won't feel bad When I first got home my wife Theresa beat me But the blows feel very littely on my back She kept missing every other stroke and crying from the heart That while I was gone she'd gone and lost the nack!
