Thank you so much for this information. It's helpful to understand its growth patterns & it gave me ideas where to plant them on my property. I'm forever grateful.
Both the Rose of Sharon and the dinner plate perennial hibiscus are beautiful. I’m sure you will enjoy which ever one you purchased. If you have room pick up the other one as well, when you get the chance. Thanks for watching and Happy Gardening

Rose of Sharon is a type of hibiscus, a subset of the category.
I am a rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys.( Song of Solomon 2:1)
My sharon rose doesn't lose its leaves in the winter. Also flowers last longer than a day for me.
How long does the rose of Sharon bloom.
Usually through October, it just depends on how many buds are on the shrub.
i love🌺🌺🌺🌺
Thank you
my name is sharon
Both are hibiscus but different type
How about Althea, Hardy hibiscus, confederate rose, to me they are all hibiscus. Would you please tell me the differences?

I wonder which one grows better in the Poconos ?
I wish I’d seen this video before. I bought the wrong hibiscus lol but they will still be beautiful either way.

Do I remove old blooms that are dying?? If so where do I cut?
Not on hibiscus or rose of Sharon. They just fall off
What zones are good for both of these?
Do you know whether the dinner plate hibiscus are edible ?
I don’t believe so.
I don't see why not. Their in the mallow family.
