Josie, just a tip I learned from other gardening TH-camrs: if you spray organic bug spray in late evening, just before dark, you have a much less chance of killing bees and other beneficial insects. ❤️

I don't know who started that "you need to have starter house, etc..." That's wrong; that's the easy way to go broke. Way back when you bought what you wanted/needed and kept it for life. For vehicles, do more research than you think you need. Research until you're sick of it. Talk to everyone who has them or has experience and pay attention to how the issues were managed. A vehicle is a good accessory - provided it's built well, taken care of well, not always in the shop for issues, and you keep it for its lifetime. Anything you're required to put money into that doesn't generate money back is not an investment; it's a liability. I have a vehicle approaching 30 years old that I love. It looks good, it was built well, it runs well. We take care of it.

The arbor with the Wisteria made me think of my childhood home…..we had a similar arbor with grapevine and wisteria that my Spanish grandfather planted. We loved playing there as children and of course eating the grapes. Sadly, my sister and I sold the property and the new owners tore it all down….😢

Praying mantis are good for bugs, too. Both naturally hit our gardens during the active bug season. Garden spiders also attempt to catch something. :). One year we had an Orb spider in the grapes. Those huge webs!

A car is rarely an investment - it loses money as soon as it's driven off the forecourt. I'm not sure if Bentley offer an electric version, if not, your petrol bill will be sky high! I can't say I ever have 'dream items', I'm just glad to keep going, especially after this last year and all that has been lost.

Omg, love the Bentley, really suits you 🥰 My sister and i followed the good weather to the Cotswolds yesterday, just over an hours drive to leave behind the rain in west Berkshire for a glorious day in Stow On The Wold and Daylesford.
