Both @ 0% for 24 months. Comparing these to my 13 PRoMax & my S22 Ultra. It’s not that big of a technology jump or difference except really good battery & App performance. I like both the new. MKBHD said the same exact thing. "Neither are going to make any significant changes." Flagship phones have become too good at what they do. Both really solid and both have pros and cons, two things i just love on my 16 Pro max is the battery and the 4/120 video. Just hope the new s25 ultra will have that but i guess that is 100% sure if Samsung not fail big time. :)
I have the iPhone 16 Pro Max and I love it but the S 24 ultra is also a good phone. However, the phone that has blown me away the most in terms of how good it is is a Google pixel 9 XL. I think for once Google actually did it and made a good phone.

If that's the case then i will always go with the one that makes my life easy. For me it's always been android and now its samsung (s24u) Tried the iphones many many times. Infact i have 15 pro max in my draw but IOS is just not it! Mac on the other hand is different and is functional for my use but IOS is stuck in 2007 with bright colours and now with 18 it's a hot mess. My use case is pure banking business news reading music and media. Ow yes on top of all that I love the Samsung extras even the ones in the Lab section that tell you what Ghz WiFi connection you are on 😅 love what samsung are doing. 🤩
This! One thing I really love about macOS is that it marries good visual design with accessible power user features. In my experience, most people who switch from windows never use the menu bar, and assume macOS has limited functionality as a result. In other words, macOS does a pretty good job of training users to become power users once they learn to use the menu bar as it lists all the keyboard shortcuts for the commands. iOS does no such thing. It has a similar simple design, but it doesn’t do as good a job of teaching you how to use it more effectively. So most people using it will do so in the most inefficient way possible. That’s really bad design. Likewise, some settings are also needlessly obscure. You shouldn’t have to do insane levels of research just to be able to use the phone effectively. iOS needs to improve its ability to let people who can do more do more.
In the middle of the video you show a large performance gap in processor power and state that in a few years, the iPhone will probably be better off because of it. But when closing out the video, you say that their processors are identical. You also chose a clickbait title that contradicts your conclusion. There are even more inconsistencies, just please lock in next time, you definitely have potential.
These Apple vs. competition (especially Samsung) comparisons are plain immature. The aspects chosen for comparison often focus on specs rather than the overall user experience-something far more meaningful in this day and age. I switched to iOS two months ago after using Android for 10 years. I had used iOS before and am an avid MacOS user.. Your approach to cherry-picking categories to compare between the phones makes me question the credibility of your review. For example, you noticeably avoid comparing the backup and restore systems on the devices. iOS offers a seamless solution with iCloud, where everything-photos, contacts, apps, and settings-is reliably stored and restored. Samsung, on the other hand, spreads data across multiple platforms: photos in OneDrive, contacts in Google or Samsung Cloud, and various files in both Google Drive and Samsung Backup. This fragmented system often results in data loss when switching to a new Samsung phone. Why wasn’t this critical aspect included in your analysis? Then there’s the integration between macOS and iOS, where files are conveniently synced across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Features like Continuity further enhance this ecosystem. Was this category explored? No. How about hardware durability? Apple products are widely regarded for their long shelf life. Moreover, the seamless information exchange between iOS apps within a device is unmatched by Android on Samsung devices. And this increases the usability of the device There there is this silly argument about iOS's limited customisation. I would not talk of the cosmetic customisation. I would rather focus on the power of customising functionality using Shortcuts. Shortcuts are very powerful. For example, one can set a button on the home screen to kill bluetooth, hotspot, and blietooth with one tap, toggle SIMs on or off, scan and optimise documents, edit the share sheets liberally, etc. Shrtcuts can change the functionality of the iPhone and literally make it your Swiss army knife. Had you taken time to explore Shortcuts you would know that Samsung's own offering does not come even close. Did you compare Apple's Shortcuts vs Samsun's Routines app? You did not. Cherrypicking. Instead of embracing divisiveness and a zero-sum approach, a mature reviewer would dig deeply into one device and assess its merits with evidence from actual experience-not a simplistic side-by-side comparison. A review like Jeremy Clarkson’s for cars, where the focus is on the journey, not just numbers, would be far more insightful. It makes me wonder: how can you truly evaluate either phone without understanding it in isolation first?
Sensor, sensor... But it seems that the lenses in the prism or the prism itself are more milky in the iPhone than in the Samsung, which seems to perceive a clearer image.
Pretty much the only types of people who really gives a fuck about the iPhone 16 pro Max are content creators people who care so damn much about photography and the perfect video mechanics - outside of that, for a casual user, 24 ultra/25 ultra all day. Still, I can't believe that Chinese phones beat the hell out of apple when it comes to photography. What are fuckin' embarrassment. 🤡
Nobody talks about the special features like satellite connectivity to send messages, The Apple watch being the most accurate Fitness tracker out there. That's the hard part. The iPhone is the weakest part of Apple.
iOS GUI is a lot prettier than Samsung. I prefer looking at my phone and seeing a beautiful and exquisite display. Android just looks different. Just not my cup of tea.
I tested both the 16 pro max and s24 ultra at the store many days ago and I still think the s24 ultra is way more fun to use like my s23 ultra. The s pen w gestures and sound effects , multi tasking, open operating system, way better display lightyears ahead corning glass no reflections, good lock, emulation at a higher level w no limitations, free ringtone,, Samsung TV ecosystem etc . I'll wait for the s25 ultra. I think Xiaomi , Huawei, Honor, Google, Red Magic, and Samsung are far ahead in innovation. For me I left Apple years ago because it has too many limitations in comparison. For me I can't live without beinf able to download anything, edge panel and copy and paste clipboard, stylus support, no foldables etc but some things like imessage and consistent video quality, AI personal voice and iTunes few things here and there are implemented well but android is just more fun for me these days.
Lack of a clipboard is so inconceivable to me that I'm shocked Apple fans don't feel outright offended by it. It's such a basic feature that any modern smartphone not having it is basically a sign the company is out to humiliate its customers.
Just few quick notes: Samsung's display is only technically capable of 2600 nits, but that peak brightnes is not in the phone (because it can't handle the power usage) it is less than 2000 nits peak (only in 1sq cm spot on a HDR video). Normal max brightness is 1000nits in the OS and apps. That is in par with iPhone's display, which is also made by Samsung. Second note: iPhones has AI functions all over the OS since iPhone X, it is used in the background and also in certain places as photos gallery, search, audio and even faceId. Post processing and image recognition functions are even more improved in iOS18, it uses AI to organize photos, recognize people and items and etc. These AI functions are there. If you have Google lens installed, you can have a similar "circle to search" feature. It only lacks the generative stuff, that Samsung uses external servers to do (where Apple promises to use the phone). Still that is a bit controversial, as most people want their photos "as-is" and not sloppy adding stuff that is not there or remove others. This is not capturing "reality". It's basically an amateur photoshopping. Another remark is about the new "photo styles" in iOS that Samsung lacks, you can adjust all those color related things to your liking before or after you take the picture (even put it as default when taking photos). It also has audio styles which is unique for iPhones (another day-1 AI powered feature), that is to greatly improve the audio quality in videos. People claim it makes the sound as good as with a professional mic.

Sorry, you are right, I fucked up with the expandable storage. However ,I do prefer photos from the s24u. Videos are debatable (for me). My wife has the 16 pro max and my battery lasts longer, idk if this is a software issue, but right now my s24u lasts about 1h more. Dont get me wrong both phones are great but I genuinley think that the s24u is better. Also cheaper, since I bought it brand new for $800 usd
I was strongly considering switching to the iphone 16 pm, but I know now that it is going to be a downgrade overall (I lose more than I gain). I wanted to switch because of the ecosystem (I use a mac daily), but the samsung s24 Ultra is simply a better phone on its own. The s-pen is awesome for quickly signing PDFs, and drawing brainstorming ideas on notes, as well as the occasional group foto. The split screen when transcribing info from one app to the other is just perfect. The least I want from iOS is a global back gesture like samsung, in general I want one-handedness that makes the screen smaller with a simple swipe, and I wish in-app settings (it is so annoying to not be able to change simple settings inside the app that is being used). Finally, touch ID on an iphone so that the phone can be unlocked from any angle no matter how dark the room is, and if it can be unlocked with touch ID while the phone is off like in Samsung, then and only then would I see the iphone as a worthy upgrade. I would then not even mind that intruding huge notch. The iphone is simply a downgrade compared to the samsung, today.
battery life is about the same, one may beat the other by a couple of minutes performance? better animations, not better performance. Check how much it takes the iPhone to render a video and come back. customer service? really? the guys that charge you 0.8x the cost of a new phone to replace a screen, ok... optimized apps? thats so 2010 camera in app? i dont even know what that is stop being a fanboy and be more objective
Not a single phone's gonna have it if people are constantly complaining about it ... which they are 💀 and rightfully so btw, as whatever it's able to do can simply be done much quicker and easier on the touchscreen
My Sony Xperia Pro-i ftom few years back alrdy has a physical camera button and in fact it's a proper one compared to the 16PM. etc; proper placement unlike the 16PM weird placement and also half press to lock focus and full press to snap pics. That's what u called a proper camera shutter button. And also my Sony Xperia Pro-i is 512gb in built memory with 1TB micro sd external memory card, headphone jack, optical and not digital focal length,1inch type sensor found in Sony's mirrorless dslr, 4K 120fps video recording and mind u this is a few years old phone. So tell me in which way, shape or form is this phone inferior to the 16PM? i can argue that infact 16PM copied Sony on the shutter button.. Iphone is always late and has never "Invented" anything but "copied" then so called make it their version..

🤔 hmmm I'm gona have to disagree. I'm team galaxy. Always have always will be. But when it comes to day to day usability, iphone has nailed it. Theyre pretty they look expensive they have imessage which makes text fun and it feels special. They have facetime to talk to friends and family (already built into the phone) although galaxy has higher nits the iPhone uses a white back light which gives the illusion that its brighter. The camera out of the box is just more bright and true to life. Especially with selfie. Warm tones like skin instead of a blue hue making people look like aliens lol dont get me wrong. Samsung has a million more features than an iPhone but do we really use all of them? A bit unnecessary. apple studies what people actually like and do day to day and implements that into their phones. They are genius at marketing and cults lol. With that being said i will be purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra in January 😂😂😂😂. I just cant make the switch. Galaxy's are so easy to use for me and i dont wana relearn a phone. Even with all the fun stuff on iPhone, Galaxy still has my heart ❤️ great review!!! 👍
Anti reflection coating is patented by Nokia and apple don't want to pay royalty fees to Nokia, that's about it! 😢 Rather they want to increase brightness which is simply stupidity 😂
There is absolutely NO comparison. After reallllllllly wanting to love my 16 pro max, I feel like I’m in a Time Machine. Android will remain king. More intuitive, easier to use, more intelligent, more customizable, cooler looking, more utility, the list is beyond endless in the ways the s24 is far superior. I’m trading my 16PM in ASAP!!!!
Long story short wanna be some nerd that gets a boner over features galore and pretends that’s better than quality get the s24 ultra. Want a phone and your a normal person who doesn’t care for the android apple debate and that does slightly less but…. Does it a lot better get an iPhone
These days..Apple seems to be believing in Renovation rather than innovation..😅 They are selling us 5 gen old iphones with usual nip and tuck at a starting price of £1,200 for 16pm which I believe they no longer deserve..these camera control is definitely a gimmick and a headache than a useful tool 😅
I canceled my pro max 512GB desert titanium a day ago. I watched too many videos comparing these phones, and since I've never had an iPhone, I would miss the s pen, and the dynamic island I decided might annoy me a lot more than the hole punch. Might order the s24 ultra or wait for the 25 in January. But the 25 ultra is supposed to be even bigger, which is a bad thing if you actually want it to fit in your pocket
I personally do not care how much the Samsung s24 is better than IPhone, I am Apple for life and I prefer iPhone iOS over android, I don’t think people understand it can really be that simple lol
I've had an iPhone since the first ever iPhone and I just tried switching to a Galaxy s24 Ultra and FUCK NO!!! SO SO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Iphone beats s24u in batterylife performance gaming costumerservice updates optimized apps. camera in app. Only thing s24 has is better zoom thats it, and dex that no one uses😅
you're smoking crack LMAO
@@robertohurtado341 refreshrate is the same 1-120hz
Mp dont mean better photos😅
s24u does not have sd card and
dont have 10x lens..
Larger battery means nothing as long as the iphones battery lasts longer. Your comment is pretty much all wrong🤣
The iphone is simply a downgrade compared to the samsung, today.
battery life is about the same, one may beat the other by a couple of minutes
performance? better animations, not better performance. Check how much it takes the iPhone to render a video and come back.
customer service? really? the guys that charge you 0.8x the cost of a new phone to replace a screen, ok...
optimized apps? thats so 2010
camera in app? i dont even know what that is
stop being a fanboy and be more objective
S24 Ultra all day
Honor is the best... king 😊😊
So pretty much 14 pro max, 15 pro max and 16 pro max are the same
Ya'll bash Apple then jump on the features, lol. Wait until every phone start to have camera control.
S24 ultra has already the camera control with the September update buddy thought I switched to the iPhone 16 Pro Max for AAA pocket gaming
Yeah it really sucks that andriod cant compare in terms of heavy gaming i wish i could combine both phones
The gaming power of iphone the customization andriod. Iphones controlcent and notifaction management as well as magsafe like jsut getting the best of both worlds @@akodonateakolakas4051
S 24 is the bast phone I have never seen❤!!!
No
🤔 hmmm I'm gona have to disagree. 👍
both phones are great at their own purposes and uses
Why doesn’t anyone talk about the fact that the iphone simply looks better!
Because its your opinion. Not others. I say otherwise

S24 ultra is the KING!
Bro. WAYYY to many ads in this video.

Anti reflection coating is patented by Nokia and apple don't want to pay royalty fees to Nokia, that's about it! 😢 Rather they want to increase brightness which is simply stupidity 😂
Samsung shutterlag and lagggy lensshifting makes it feel cheap and badly optimized
Does it a lot better get an iPhone
someones hurt his phone wasnt picked as the best option
dont worry mate, daddy´s still probably going to buy you the iphone 16 in pink
Wow lol
These days..Apple seems to be believing in Renovation rather than innovation..😅 They are selling us 5 gen old iphones with usual nip and tuck at a starting price of £1,200 for 16pm which I believe they no longer deserve..these camera control is definitely a gimmick and a headache than a useful tool 😅
S24 ultra is king

@ yes. Go cry
S24 ultra is 1000€, while the 16 pro max is 1200€, but is not superior in any way, still doesn’t have apple intelligence, but it s advertising it
Im considering cancel my Pro Max i never get it, apple sucks keeping up with demands useless frim
@@lordzeuscannon6400 I'm considering doing the same as you
I personally do not care how much the Samsung s24 is better than IPhone, I am Apple for life and I prefer iPhone iOS over android, I don’t think people understand it can really be that simple lol
Why wouldn't you want something that's better?
That is indeed very simple
I've had an iPhone since the first ever iPhone and I just tried switching to a Galaxy s24 Ultra and FUCK NO!!! SO SO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First the screen looks like complete shite compared to the iPhone screen on the 16 pro max. The iPhone screens bright and really clear unlike the Galaxy AND the annoying sounds the galaxy makes omfg!!! the ONLY thing better on the Galaxy is the camera and seriously all everyone goes on about every year with new iPhone is camera camera camera....YAWN!!!!!!! I lasted half a day and went straight back to my iPhone 16 pro max!
You realise that Samsung make the screens for Crapple right? 😂 My partners iphone 16 pro max is like a you phone compared to my S24 Ultra 😂
