      I no this old I'm just about to start this video I seen your comment I never could Take yoga series years ago now that I'm older it's big difference.....I work as a dsp we had a yoga class with our clients it felt like church it was so healing I'm going through a bad break up or trying to break up and it drained on my mental Especially with the verbal abuse Meditation became really like a doctor for me it's the only thing that keep me Ground it

    Aug 10, 2023 Indeed this is my little rescue❤✨
    I arrived at the mat and told Adriene-I always talk to her, lol-that I’m not feeling well and I need her help. Hearing her saying “let’s balance it out” made me realize that I chose the right practice. I had bouts of tears throughout the practice as I’m struggling with my healing process, but every time Adriene’s soothing voice, the sound of my breath, and my inner smile helped me reconnect with myself and find center again.
    “I’m not my thoughts.”
    “Not all my thoughts are my beliefs.”
    “I choose to let go.”
    “I’m patient with myself and I choose to heal.”
    I kept repeating those words in my head, and I left the mat feeling a little bit better, a little bit more courageous to face my fears and heal my soul. Thanks, Adriene❤❤

      I love this comment. Well done you. Healing is not always easy - but may you find some comfort in the idea that a challenge means that you are getting outside of your comfort zone and changing the way you operate. You will only continue to find strength. I say this as someone also on their healing journey after a very frightening almost 2 months dealing with intense anxiety and other bits. You have got this, and I hope that you are doing well!

      @@alyssalee1116 these comments are so sweet, it's nice to be able to join Adrienne and this lovely community for a practice when you're not feeling so good. I think many of us are on our own healing journeys, mine is from an 8 month run in with long covid, peri-menopause and anxiety etc... I have good days and bad. Today I started doing the Fill Your Cup practice that is on the February yoga calendar but got 12 mins in and realised I had to listen to my body today and stop. I'm just feeling really weak and nauseaus today. So I did this lovely little meditation instead. Adrienne always has your back. 🐻‍❄

    You saved my life this morning. I recently lost my job and having troubles with marriage and kids, just a lot. Anxiety kicked into overdrive, however after watching just two of your videos. I'm at calm and almost peace with whatever life throws at me. You have a devoted follwer here. WOW. just WOW. Thank you thank you.

    Day 27 complete I did this one with my brother and my dog. My dog sat in my lap while I did it today he is 60 lbs. 02/27/2024

    Usually this practice makes me feel really calm and reassured. But today, as I was imagining my ocean breath, I feel like for the first time my mind started to let go of all my thoughts and just focus on my breath. And for some reason, I started to freak out! My mind is never quiet or focused at all, and it scared the shit out of me when it was finally quiet. I almost started to cry. Even though it stressed me out so much, I feel like this is such a breakthrough. I never knew how people could just silence their minds, but turns out, if you keep at it long enough, you can actually do it. Next step is to not freak out haha, but you can't have it all at once I guess ;)

      I'd love to update you guys on what i experienced so far with this video. I tried meditation because i wanted to explore other ways of calming my mind and anxiety.
      However, one particular issue i was facing was not being able to let go of someone who didn't deserve my attention. It wasn't a toxic relationship nor one that had elements of much negativity but it was one that didn't deserve any more of my energy and attention. And I didn't know how to get rid of this person in my mind but i also accepted that i felt that way.
      So because i wanted to try meditation for my anxiety i picked this video and as i started to follow this video and repeated back the mantra of, "I choose to let go" tears came out of my eyes, but i didn't feel any emotion, it was like a physical release. And i wasn't actually thinking about anyone or anything when i was doing this meditation. So, after i finished the video, having followed it as freely and as naturally as i could i carried on with my day.
      Later on, in the evening, as i sat outside my home with the breeze on my cheeks and the wind filling my lungs with fresh air, i suddenly smiled, like never before. No thought prompted that smile like usually one does. It was a sudden feeling of light energy coming over my head and shoulders. And I asked myself in that moment, why? and then i realised that for that entire day i hadn't thought about that person again and i let go.
      I feel like this meditation tapped into my subconscious and got rid of that person for me. I think accepting how you feel about anything and calmly releasing it with words in this way can actually help. I'd love to hear other people's stories and experiences so far.

    I've been doing this meditation everyday for about a month. I've had anxiety for the longest and it really helps me find my inner peace. Natural remedies for anxiety are the way to go! Thanks for this meditation.

    This was really nice. I have a vivid imagination, and I often end up hurting my own feelings by imagining scenarios or situations that hold no place in reality. So the mantra "I choose to let go" is a wonderful reminder to me to cast aside those insignificant thoughts. Thank you so much!

    i was very jittery throughout this meditation, couldn't really sit still or avoid wandering to unpleasant thoughts - it was like this until the very last second - but now i can breathe a bit better and i feel calmer so thank you so much.
    and to everyone going through it right now i know it's a lot and i know it's terrible but know that you are loved and hopefully this will end soon. let's pray for that and for those suffering

    They have declared state of emergency a few hours ago here in Spain due to coronavirus. The news are so sad and they are asking us not to leave our homes. I do yoga everyday, but the single thought of not being able to go for a run and enjoy the sun outside is awful. Stay safe all of you out there in the risky areas and do a lot of yoga. The mind is the strongest muscle after all! 🙏🏻

    I enjoyed this meditation. The space between the breaths is, I believe, a touch of the Godhead, where we can potentially merge and lose ourselves in the creative force of the universe. It's like falling asleep but remaining conscious.

    I feel like that moment when you're slipping into sleep, like everything in my body turned to water and I floated above myself. I have NEVER felt this way while awake before. I really let go and it was wonderful. I wouldn't have allowed myself to be so vulnerable in a public class...this is such a valuable gift, at home yoga with the best instructor ever. Thank you.

    Today finds me on the northeast coast, not far from where the two Koreas meet. This practice meshed well with the ocean sounds outside. I had the volume off--my friend behind me in this pension teaching his online university class--but read when Adriene mentioned the breath as ocean waves rising and falling. I did not have to imagine, and was in sync even as she suggested it. Very lovely and highly appreciated on this 5th anniversary of last seeing another dear friend with whom I have lost contact. I simply let the breath and waves carry me back into that presence where all resides.
    Reset day 24. 355 days in a row.

    at 3:45am today, two people tried to break into my home (everyone is safe and secure, no one got hurt)
    I have been battling to calm my nerves down all day and thought "ah, yes, my daily ywa practice will help"

      Blessings to you. When dramatic things happen. Stop yourself and go to breathing ocean breath that helps me. I came from a violent home life. Grew up on the city streets. My older sister watched over me some but she was just a kid herself. We have kids of own now and are trying to teach them better way than we learned.🙏 Namaste

    "I choose to let go". Wow. So I have been struggling to stick with the FEB ADMIRE calendar as I have missed few practices but in my head I was like " I can do that anytime and makeup for that missed practice". True but I feel like I forgot the very purpose of why I started daily yoga which is to let go, at the end of each day all of the things which no longer serve me. In my head I started thinking that now I've missed some days then there is really no hope for making daily yoga a habit. So I'm glad for this short rescue remedy to reset my intention and pickup right where I left off. I love that we can always come back and rejoin the journey no matter what we missed. Everyone at their own pace and the most important thing is to really show up for yourself.❤

    I'd like to say this incase Adriene ever sees it, I've been suffering with panic attacks for about 2 months now (1 big one ending with me in a&e thinking I was having a heart attack), I've had an extremely stressful year watching my mom fight breast cancer with constant highs and lows, surgery etc. I've been watching your meditation videos for the past 2 weeks and doing your meditation every day and I cannot believe the difference! I feel calmer, more at ease, less stressed and peaceful. Thank you so much for the videos, they really have changed my life.

    I'm somewhere where I feel very emotionally vulnerable for a few days and I don't have the space nor the privacy to keep up with my usual practice but this practice made me feel very safe and grounded and I'm ready to let go of those bad feelings that try to cling to me every time I'm here.     I have been using guided meditation videos as a way to help with anxiety and intrusive thoughts for about 6 months now, I usually use a channel called The Mindful Movement, but I came across this meditation because I really enjoy your yoga videos (I have scoliosis and sciatica, and you have specific videos to cater to my needs, i appreciate that so much). So I'm here to beg, PLEASE MAKE MORE MEDITATION VIDEOS :) you have such a positive impact on my mental health and I want to see more! You are inspirational and I am so glad to share my days with you.     Adriene, you have completely changed my life although you don't know me.
    I've been an athlete and worked out my entire life. I thought the only possible way I could continue to be fit and maintain my physique was through intense HIIT and strength training (anything that made me sweat profusely). My body was showing me signs through injury to tell me to stop. Although I LOVED the workouts, my body didn't. I ignored my body and became very injured to the point where I couldn't walk. Being very frustrated and very injured, I decided to youtube "yoga" and found your channel. You taught me how to be mentally strong, you taught me how to connect with my body. But most importantly, you taught me to find what feels good. You showed me what I was truly missing - that mind to body connect. This has translated into my everyday actions throughout all interactions. I truly sent my love to you, from Toronto. Namaste.

    Admire day 27🎉 loved this meditation, I wrapped up in a blanket, sat on my mat and fully got into the medi. I didn't drift into any other thoughts, which is weird for me, my mind constantly has random thoughts, it was nice to find some peace and to let go. Thank you, Adriene for this medi, my body and mind needed the rest today. 💖🧘🏼‍♀️🙏

    Wow. I feel like i hit the refresh button. My eczema on my face looks visibly less red after this practice. Felt like 2 minutes of relaxing. First time time not fidgeting while in meditation. I did open my eyes and saw a lovely candle, made me feel connected. Motivate day 6

    Adriene, you have a way of finding me that just never stops astounding me:
    I have been away from the mat lately and today was my first practice in a little while. I was a little bit behind schedule on my morning routine and only had 15 minutes left for my practice? I still picked today's video on the calendar and it turned out to be JUST what I needed: a less than 15 minutes video, telling me to slow down and breathe. And it certainly isn't the first time that the practice of the day hits the bullseye for me.

    That was really good, I love this meditation practice, thank you Adriene. Every time I do this meditation, it feels like having a big hug from an old friend. Before practice, I was feeling a little with out energy, and I just wanted to sleep, but now I feel like I can take on my day. I'm going to do another practice, before I leave my mat today.     I don't even think I managed like 3 deep breaths before I was bawling my eyes out. my parents have more or less made it clear I'm not welcome home yet I have never felt more free. I am my own person and I will find that calm one day. thank you for being here for me for years 💚💚💚

    1:16 " To essentially find our chill and "i choose to let go.... I felt that deep and i burdt in tears as i repeat that beautiful liberating mantra... This is so lovely, short, calming soothing and what an emotional session to practice again, i felt a wonderful release and a great start to my day, ty so much Adriene 💜🌹 for this needed reminder, a luttle calm, a little chill def.goes a long way.     Feeling tired, I practiced this meditation laying on my acupressure mat and my legs up the wall and a blanket across my chest. With my eyes closed and Adriene's calm voice, I was able to chill. Thank you for reminding us that we have the power within to change or alter how we feel. Namaste 🧘🏼‍♀️.

    LOVE 💗| June 26, 2023 | This was a great way to blow some cobwebs away mid-workday on a busy meeting day. I still had a bit of a monkey mind going on as my work brain was "on", but I was able to capture a few moments of letting go and that's all it takes! 🙏
