Heard Vengerov say in one of his masterclassses: "You get paid for every note you play". Well he made sure every note was heard...and at such incredible speed :O
he is really great musician and i think that this piece suits him, but i think that the best tzigane performance is with young vengerov with claudio abbado
Vengerov - such anan amazing violinist -- perhaps the best technician today?. That said... That first violin section as some very attractive women, Especially the assistant concert-mistress!
Present day? Unfortunately, Perlman is nowhere near where he was in his heyday. In fact, it's troubling to see some of the issues he is having. Twenty years ago though, yes - absolutely fantastic - Perlman was the best.
+Stefan Avalos I saw Perlman perform in Las Vegas 2 years ago and it looked like he was just going through the notes. I didn't feel that he really played like he should have. Don't know if it was the body or the soul for his lackluster interpretation that night.
Looks like John Williams stole some parts from this opus for his soundtrack to Spielberg's "Schindler's List". In years you happen to know such interesting things!!
I know that being a father leaves you less time to give for practicing and studying.. but I think that people by arguing with his exaggerated way of moving have just destroyed my beloved Vengerov.. i can fell he's not himself anymore.. too much serious ..too much concerned about what people would think if he expresses himself without brakes and does "exaggerated " moves. I hate people
Nice but when I think of a gypsy melody, I think more passion, raw, edgy and unfortunately this performance is too sedate for my tastes. I wish Emil Chudnovsky would record this with orchestra. I have heard him play the opening solo part and it is magnificent.
I like this performance of this piece of music, the most of any I've listened to. Maxim and the Russians are too great for words. 😊
Still one of the greatest violinists - if not the greatest.

One of my favorite TH-cam videos
This is by far the most satisfying video I've watched on TH-cam in a long time. Thanks to Vengerov and the orchestra. And the upload of course.
Bravo! What passion and precision.
So enchanting! I felt like every single sounds of all instruments of orchestra formed into clear shapes and surround me!
This is definitely my favourite piece of violin music and Vengerov is amazing. How anyone plays at that speed...! 🎻🙀❤️
Heifetz could, but I prefer vengerov in this case
I have only one word for Vengerov: exquisit.
Really amazing:-))
Admire!!

Vengerov à son niveau coutumier. C'est à dire incomparable. Du pur géni.
I quote Vengerov: "Now I don't move too much, whereas before, my movements were sort of like a palm tree!" hahahahah :)
Como sempre muito bom e impecável! Vengerov sempre foi algo fora desse mundo.
Top of Top!!!!💕👏👏👏👏👏👏
7:10 my favorite part
Just amazing !!!!
6:40-ish always makes me laugh. His movements look funny.

Haha this conductor is just AWESOME!!!!!
+Rachel Smith Why? lol But he does look like a cool guy.
You also 😋
He understands ever venge4ov intention and follows it. No ego chief. A great great
que expressão é essa! SHOW de MAIS!! bravo
My idol 😻I love you ❤️
Super!!!

un-f*ing-believable !!

I know his father! His family is really musical one!
Love it! Insane! Bravo!
Kakie artisti;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;VENGEROV I JUROWSKI !!! BRAVO i BRAVO !!!
Vengerov nails it.
Very good!:)
DAT EPIC FLOURISH AT THE END DOE
Violent!
Looks like John Williams stole some parts from this opus for his soundtrack to Spielberg's "Schindler's List". In years you happen to know such interesting things!!
4:15 my love💔
The last 2 or so minutes of this work should have been used in a Looney Tunes cartoon.
wow
Listen to Philippe Hirschhorn, very magical!!!
WOW !!! VENGEROV AND JUROWSKI !!!!
Which violin he using? looks so beautiful
Stradivarius Kreutzler I think :)
Que som
03:30 harp
5:35 the director deserves an award.
Vengerov sounds much better but the orchestra was either off or a beat behind him at more than one spot.
Isaac Murphy I don't blame them considering the fact that the tempo changes all the time
bad ass
I even clapped at home ..
Vengerov looks like a proper virtuoso now since he's more constrained with his movements because of his shoulder injury . lol
I miss his exaggerated facial and body expression. lol
His injury required him to change his physical playing style.
but as you can see his facial expressions and joyfullness are gone
You make a good point. I want to say its just part of artistic maturation? I hope it is.
+Nicola Fattorini Huh? Vengerov has children? He had a shoulder injury. Wow, didn't ever know this. lol
yep :)
7.01😂😂
Paganini-like
jobb mint heifetz

It is Mary Jane? 0:44
that's what i thought was well!
No me gusta esta «nueva escuela»
The women behind are looking very annoyed, especially the one on the right side. Jealous?
