      @Doctor PD , Here is the reply from Jason
      "The batch system is not really used any more, since the V11s have been in circulation for almost two years now. We're probably on batch +20 right now 😂.
      What we can say is that OUR V11s are the latest & greatest, since they just came off the boat a few weeks ago. The feedback from the last 50+ that we've shipped out so far has been really solid.
      In this batch of V11s, the motors are fitted with the improved 6916 type bearings & seals, affording a better level of water resistance, but the V11 is still not a completely weather-resistant Wheel. Using in damp conditions, or a light sprinkling ought to be alright, but please try to avoid riding in wet weather.
      Hope this helps,
      Jason "

    Love my V11. Only gripes I have is that it lacks a bit of torque when compared with V12 (can fall down due to excessive acceleration or breaking), the fender being useless (bought an awesome 3D printed aftermarket fender though, so that's solved), the charging port rubber falling out (ducktape fix for now) and the plastic top case connected with screws whose housing breaks the first time your wheel falls (no solution for now unfortunately). The weight, power and distance traveled on this wheel is perfect for my city travel needs. Oh, and the original seat attaches to the handlebar via some double-stick ducktape which loses grip quite fast. Lost my seat somewhere after riding home drunk from a party once, lol.

    If you are looking into getting one of these wheels they are great. I've been on mine about 6 months. I've rode it hard and had a lot off fum on it. The thing can for sure take a beating... The pedals are a bit high they do take some getting used to but not bad... The only downfall is the pump is complete trash. Plan on if you get this wheel shelling out anothother $40 or so to get a pump that accutuly works.

      @@WILSONsHobbies I don't have any experience with creating TH-cam videos, so I probably won't upload a video of it, though that's not a bad idea in case there's a problem so I can show support. Yeah this is my first EUC. I'm converting from the scooter world in the hopes that the larger tire and weather proofing will allow me to ride it 365 to replace my 2nd car. Scooters work great except for the winter.

    edit: @ 10:36 i put a caption on the screen. This is wrong information for what I was trying to achieve. I did not need to include this caption. Please disregard.
    After the video, i repumped the suspension on the bottom to 150 psi, and hoping with loosing air, it would drop down to ~125. The top chamber i pumped up to 100 hoping the air loss will drop it down to ~75psi. Im getting a different pump that has the bleed valve on it so i can accurately pump the suspension next time not having to estimate PSI when taking off pump and worry about loss of air.

    • @bensacheri
      @bensacheri 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      FYI: The Inmotion pump does have a bleed feature. When you are at the pressure you want unscrew the upper part of the nozzle on the pump hose about 1" away from the tire valve. It's hard to explain, but the pump has a feature where it separates and releases pressure against the tire valve stem. After you release this pressure you can then unscrew the pump hose from the tire valve. Nonetheless the Inmotion pump has a gauge that is too small and mine ended up failing. I bought a Gyro shock pump that is much better for $25. amzn.to/3MXngL4

    • @WILSONsHobbies
      @WILSONsHobbies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bensacheri thanks for the info! Yes I’m aware of the feature, and the dial on mine stopped working this morning, luckily and funny you mentioned the gyro, is the one I ordered , comes tomorrow🤘🏼🤘🏼⚡️⚡️😎😎

  • @WILSONsHobbies
    @WILSONsHobbies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Recent EDIT: Pressure is now 110 bottom chamber, and 55 upper chamber. I followed the advice of others to use the 1.4 inch sag rule as followed:
    *Tools -Gyro shock pump with release valve, lithium grease to help not strip the valves, paper , tape, something to write with, measurement tape or ruler
    1.)stand on the wheel, apply paper to the handle and mark off a line . Deflate upper chamber. Inflate bottom chamber to specified PSI according to weight in the inmotion chart.
    2.) Measure how much distance from the line mark to the top of the wheel casing under the saddle.
    3.)Stand on the wheel and hop on it a few times , while standing ,measure from line marking on saddle to the top of the casing underneath the saddle.
    4.) Adjust pressure of bottom chamber till you get a sag of 1.4 inches. (stand on the wheel a few times and measure , adjust pressure till you get it)
    5.)Inflate upper chamber half of the psi you have in bottom chamber.
    6.)Test and ensure your configuration doesnt bottom or top out by jumping up and down on the pedals, and that you NOT bouncing off the pedals like a trampoline

    My V11 is scheduled to arrive in a few days. I noticed that you had problems with one of the side pads staying on good. what's the key to getting the side pads to stay on real good?

    • @WILSONsHobbies
      @WILSONsHobbies  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      to use rubbing alchohol and a sandpaper together and gently work on the lower 3rd of the saddle. Rub some of that rubbing alcohol on a towel on the bar on each side on each side. Let it dry and get industrial strength double sided velcro and apply your pads.
      Also you may want to get some super glue for the the rubber handle so it stays put, just some on the inside far as you can go and some on the metal tip of the handle . It falls off easily

      I got my pads yesterday. The V11 is supposed to hear tomorrow. The weather here in Texas today is low 70s and upper 60s this weekend. I’m super excited about riding. Hopefully I will be fortunate to get a flawless V11 ☺️🤔

    • @WILSONsHobbies

      lean a little bit of your body weight forward to accelerate leaning backwards to break. you got ato shift body in a certain way to navigate obstacles while you’re doing those movements and it becomes a balancing act.

    I had a nightmare with inmotion. 1 unit dead on arrival and couldn't get used to the pedal dipping. I'm still not sold on suspension wheels. I can't understand why they all have this high pressure nonsense. Why can't they use oil filled dampers and overcoils.
    Don't get me wrong I think suspension is great and inmotion are well built wheels it's just my bad experience with them that has put me off.
    It's definitely the best value/performance suspension wheel available at the moment and a sensible choice. We're not all loaded and can't afford the latest and greatest or 10 wheels sat in the garage.
    Good luck with new wheel....looks like the sherman will be put on the back burner for a while 😁

      Sorry to hear about your experience. Ive heard similar stories but took a chance with this one from ewheels . Any wheel can have issue though no matter what vendor. The Sherman is still its own thing and is not replaceable aat this moment. It is like a BULL, but the V11 is great for cruisin and feel comfortable and feels right for my height, weight .

      I have not taken it to far on max range so far, tomorrow ill get more miles in . On average 20 mile trips. V11 was updated and now it indicates estimated mileage is 67 with 100 percent battery. Max speed in the video was slow while i was getting use to the machine. ~10-20mph.

    SIDE PAD TROUBLE SHOOTING - In the video I state that I used rubbing alcohol on the side pads. Indeed that does help SOME, but additionally you may want to consider using a sanding sponge to rough up the surface lightly bottom half of the saddles. This will help make the 3M glue stick on the velcro adhere strongly to saddle. Tested and confirmed. Leave velcro/glue on for a day or two before removing/adjusting pads. Does not make the saddle look different aside from a loss of shine .
