You did an excellent job with this comparison review 👏 😊 I have tried both of these sunscreens, and I definitely prefer the Australian Gold 👍 Thank you! 🌞
Both are great sunscreen but one difference is the UVA protection. With colorscience, it's tested to have PA++++ but unknown for Australian gold. Thank you for the wear test!
I never heard about this one, just about to repurchase my colourscience, but now I think I'll try Australian one, especially since it's much cheaper! Thank you 💗💗💗
I agree with everything said, except that is very very drying on my skin (having combination skin) To an extend that I need rescue serums at night to rebalance. Plus when I go for snorkeling I feel it is not protecting my dark spots. However, it is very water resistant. I love everything about it, except for these two things. In Europe it double the price.
Good review and comparison between the ColorScience Flex and the Australian Gold. I love the texture of the Australian Gold, it spreads really well, but I find this drying. Overall between the two, I prefer the ColorScience Flex over the Australian Gold.
hmm i someone else told me Australian gold is drying as well, thanks for bringing this up. I'm going to make sure to mention that in future videos. Saphire, you seems to collect of a lot of sunscreens. Whats your 1 favorite mineral tinted sunscreen?
@@TianaLe I’d say the SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion placed #1. It toppled the Colorscience Fkex in to #2 😊 But I also like the Avène tinted mineral fluid spf 50 (not the Solaire UV version. I had this first but the tint was so dark. You actually reviewed the Solaire version, which you also noted as too dark). But I still like both Avène version. I also like the DRMTLGY universal tint spf 46. The CoTZ Flawless Complexion is shiny but I like wearing it when I’m just home. MD Solarscience is great too but only spf 30. The only one that I was really disappointed in (and never finished up) was the EltaMD UV Physical spf 41. Terrible pills, patches, felt caky as I remember. Do you have another EltaMD that you can recommend? A fluid one perhaps?
@@TianaLe my friend let me tried the tinted sunscreen she’s using called Babo Botanicals Daily Sheer Fluid Tinted Mineral SPF 50. I liked it even after two reapplications. I don’t see many reviews on this. I hope you can review it in your channel. She said she got it from Amazon for $19.99.
I love colorescience the flex isn’t my favorite I prefer the glow it works so good for me I tried the Australian gold and it was a no for me it felt so thick and sticky
Hi chi, what is your holy grail sunscreen so far? And could you recommend your best spf lip balms (no color and color tinted) ? I have oily sensitive skin and develop lip eczema too.
Hi Emily! I bounce between the Australian Gold and Colorescience sunscreen matte. I like the AG a bit more because it is cheaper and that I can wear it under my foundations. With CS its too thick to wear with foundation. Have you try chemical lip sunscreens before? My favorites happened to be chemicals such as the MDSolarSciences Lip balm - rstyle.me/+nsY5iuQZW50pyIOrkDB1QQ and the Target brand Sport Sunscreen lip balm spf 50 - rstyle.me/+Jp0Njog66kaC7GJOpwemQw. Physical sunscreens are less irritating so a physical lip sunscreen that may be safe for you is the Vanicream Lip Protectant rstyle.me/+Jp0Njog66kaC7GJOpwemQw, I don't use it anymore because it has a white cast. These my affiliates that I'm posting here so the websites are shorter to read. hopes this helps! =)
You should try the colorescience balms they are a bit expensive but work so well I’ve tried many different lip spf balms and Colorescience balms are my favorite u can use them as a balm or blush I use them as both and the colors r so pretty
Hello, thanks for thorough explanation and description! However I am a bit concerned about the protection strength of Australian Gold Botanical bb, as I read somewhere (I can not remember where) that austr gold btncal bb's protection strength is umder question. What can you say about it.
Hi Charos! I use two bottles of this BB cream and I did not have any sunburns, and my skin didn’t get any tanner. Therefore, I feel confident using his products for myself.
Hi, love this review. I am still deciding on which of the sunscreens to buy. I am asian with yellow undertones and am scared if it’s just too orange on my skin. Which of those would you recommend for a more yellow skin person?
do you have oily skin? The Australian Gold is a bit more yellow than the colorescience but it's won't make you look yellow... Australian Gold is more matte than the Flex so I actually like it more..=). It's cheaper so maybe try that first..
Hi! please can you tell , at the end of the day when you wash your face which one leaves your skin dry or drier because I am using the Australian gold and it leaves my face dry. Thank you I love your reviews and a new subscriber 💛
you know they don't dry out my skin at all....I normally wash my face with some cleansing oil first then go in with my Cerave SA Cleanser...then to moisturize with Cerave PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion..:)
It did for me! I’ve never had nodular acne on my face until this product. I was freaking out cause the nodular acne was staying on my face for months and I thought it wouldn’t go away. I made an appointment to see a dermatologist then it finally got so inflamed and popped on its own that week. Please be aware before buying the Australian one. I just got the colorescience Matte sunscreen this week. Do you have any experience getting acne from it?
hi here! the eltamd UV's consistency is very light and no white cast. It's good for when you had a sunburn/ skin compromised. The australian gold and colorescience matt are thicker in consistency. The would feel like you have a little foundation on. However, there's a little more coverage than the eltamd.
Uv physical seems lighter on me. But my daughter likes it...does not sting her eyes n acnes...Ag is too dry for her. AG has a beautiful colour eventhough a bit drying...it pays off when I look in the mirror..more affordable vs colorscience
This is one of the most thorough reviews I've ever seen! Love it!

Australian gold shares their PA rating on their website, its also PA++++. If I remember correctly the UVAPF was 19

What about the non tint one?- Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen Mineral Lotion, Broad Spectrum, Water Resistant, SPF 50, 5 Ounce
