I just turned 71.... Have been a huge Beatlemaniac since age 10. These guys are really great. The best band to come along in a long time. They effectively blend so many of my fave rave influences.... Beatles, 4 Seasons, Beach Boys, Byrds, The Knack, Blondie, and more that I just cant think of right now........ and who has ever seen a drummer turn into a guitarist? The way they trade around instruments is amazing .... GREAT!

The show to show off how good they are. One keyboard, no or (minimal) pedals. Can't think who'd I'd rather see live at the moment? Bore / bash your friends with this!
An actual band that write their own songs and play their instruments? With vocal harmonies? So excellent is these days of the AI onslaught. Just great.
This is the point where the Twigs rock themselves into a production and stylization sound that propels them into the next plateau. They are more than handsome! They are brothers with equally star faced band mates. They are rock solid and look great. If only Cheap Trick and The Knack knew the future. The Twigs land solid in this wonderful show. Thanks to all four members. I'm rooting for you all.

I love hearing the Twigs show their influences: Beach Boys, Todd Rundgren, Jellyfish, The Raspberries, The Beatles and it is all so won . . . won . . . WONDERFUL 👍 !
What drew me to these guys (apart from hearing them first on the lovely movie 'How it ends' with 'As LOng As We're Together') how similar what they do is to some of the projects by Shimmy Disc Recoirds (Kramer, Licht etc of Bongwater/Shockabilly/New York Gong) from the early to late 80's A bit garagey, a bit trippy, and a lot of fun
They have the best traits of ABBA, Redd Kross, Big Star, REM, Beach Boys (etc) seamlessly incorporated into their own amazing songwriting ability and live performance technique. This is the best band in the world right now.
The two recent pro-shot gigs also happened to be the last two shows of a tour. I'd say it's mostly just burnout. Notice they're not nearly as animated either - Michael not doing his jumps at all etc. They probably need to alter the set order too - the one-two punch of Golden Years and In My Head is great but it seems too taxing for Mike - here he blows his voice out partway thru In My Head then doesn't really recover. They've gotten better at looking after their voices overall though - they lower a lot of songs including The One, Any Time of Day, Golden Years & Live in Favour of Tomorrow.
@@tomchristie3199 Vocal fatigue can happen to the best of them. I remember a talented R&B/Soul singer by the name of Larry Braggs occasionally singing slightly flat, due to the brutal gig schedule Tower Of Power (His then employers) were on.
Michael has more flair and unique style as a drummer but they've def made the choice a while back that they both want to be at the front for pretty much the whole show

I agree with you sir.
Dès que je les ai écoutés j'ai tout de suite pensé à un subtil mélange entre les Beatles et les beach boys. 🙂👍

Finally a good Twogs live mix for the new stuff.

22:10 Brian playing bass so amazingly like that and singing those parts at the same time never cease to amaze me.
He is a beast
Sounds like the voices are showing the effects of touring so much but nevertheless these guys are great. Buy their records they deserve more acclaim.
Saw them live last night. They are BEASTS, by far the best band I have seen live
they inspire me so much. so unbelievably amazing live. I wish they'd perform more of their older stuff!!! go to school is my favorite

It's been 6 wonderful years since I came across some video of them playing. They are THE band. I love you kids.
These guys are gonna make history.
I love hearing the Twigs show their influences: Beach Boys, Todd Rundgren, Jellyfish, The Raspberries, The Beatles and it is all so won . . . won . . . WONDERFUL 👍 !
That enlighted precisely guitar riffs! Je l'ai aimé!
J'étais à leur concert hier soir à Herouville, excellent !! Super moment et I wanna prove to you magique ! + le set acoustique inattendu beau à tomber

I like how people just listen and vibe with them
“The One” has a Marshall Crenshaw flavor I like.
They're very underrated. I wish the world will know them
Absolument géniaux !! les harmonies et mélodies sont parfaites. Que dire de plus !!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
The Twigs will rock on over and over. LUV this band. A rare find a few years ago. I kept up with their recordings. Go Twigs go.

I love these guys! In a world of fake music The Lemon Twigs are real music! Just four lads playing and singing their hearts out! Rock on Twigs!
Great live show! Great talent! Great song writers!
Best band !!!
Cracks absolutos!
After the versofest library performance I notice just how much Michael looks back at Reza for approval when he makes a joke😂
I came here to comment this 😂
maybe they are just in their honeymoon period at the moment😅😍
Great production! Camera work... switching... 👍
It is impossible. These guys get better with each gig they play. They're almost *too* good
20:46 okay danny!!! looking vvv cute

Best Power Pop band in the last 4 decades.
Amazing a million times over!! Kudos to the band and the sound and video crew!!
I wish I was here.....
Their music gives me life man
Don’t get me wrong I liked the twigs earlier stuff but these last 2 records have really made me a fan
The contrary happened to me, cant really get into these last two records
@@MMarkovichthis is surprising to me, everything harmony in particular is a modern classic IMO
Beatles reunion very very beatiful band god bless you..
No one does retro revival better or more authentic than these guys. Love that Brian shreds on a 12 string!

Stunning! Go Twigs!!
Michael’s bass at 33:53!
holy shit!
At 3:00, My Golden Years goes from a Beatles song to a Beach Boys song basically.
September liverpool …The Twigs will be all mine ( and my beautiful daughters ) !!!!!❤️
Les Lemon Twigs ont publié 5 albums : 5 pépites.
that's as close as we're ever gonna get to seeing the beatles live at their youthful peak :X
Je les ai croisé dans la rue à Paris 2h avant le concert de manière totalement random 😂
Just love em. Cant wait to see them in September
Im seeing them in leeds in sept !
Wonderful performance, sound & video production. Thanks so much!
Beautiful work.
Brian on bass is the best they sound live.
A dream is all I know es un tema increíble ❤
Best Power Pop band in the latest 20 year. Oxigen
Fantastic!!!
“i think it’s track 4…for all you number…freaks”
I love how much Brian loves the word freaks.
These guys have a long career ahead of them!! Great music!
Get your fancy headphones on boys, the mix on this one is SICK
Stunning modern power pop
They are sooo good live that I have to fly from Kauai to Seattle to go see them. Amazing band!
They have the best traits of ABBA, Redd Kross, Big Star, REM, Beach Boys (etc) seamlessly incorporated into their own amazing songwriting ability and live performance technique. This is the best band in the world right now.
Really i love this boys ❤
Damn they sound so good here
Great sound and visuals. Thanks for this!

14:31 I think I might be in love with you... :)
Twiggies, Twiglets, The Twoogees, Twigarunos, Les Wigglets, The Twundis, Juice-Boys. Lemon Thunder, ladies and gentlemen: THE LEMON FUCKING TWIGS.
i think they are at their best when they rock a little . and play a little harder .
they look like rock legends here
Superb! A master class
Please upload in 4K
Camera has trouble following who is soloing.
Nice Oui Magazine t-shirt 😉
Was this in Paris?
Incredible band! The no-frills live instrumentation is almost as impressive as the songwriting.
Michael's voice was rough, sounds like he's getting over a cold or sth
They are doing quite a few shows. Road weary?
@@carolfan4466 Yeah, probably. Same thing happened in Barcelona during the Primavera Sound a couple weeks ago.

Hermoso
Brian singing and playing those bass lines in Any Time of Day and Michael's drumming on same. These guys are incredible.
14:31 , 15:38 The cameraman is in love with this girl.
And so am I.
Basically Michael’s female version
Merci les têtes de citron
oh, and: be careful with that axe Danny.
Michael struggling with his voice clearly in this show
It's amazing they can perform these extremely challenging songs live. I'm super-impressed. Kudos to them.
He sounds like he has a bad cold here. It was the end of a touring leg, burnout seems likely
D’addario brothers were better drummers than that 70s looking stud
Michael has more flair and unique style as a drummer but they've def made the choice a while back that they both want to be at the front for pretty much the whole show
Is that Bruno Mars on Bass guitar😂
