Number 2 is wrong. Gandalf is never considered as part of the company. He aids them at times during their journey. So your answer should actually be 14
I think you are right. This one hasn't sat well with me since recording. Gandalf made much of the journey with the company but wasn't a contractual member. Bilbo is the "lucky-number" which would be 14 and the treasure was split 14 ways.

@@MiddleHearth well, I would say maybe on Gondor. I like that realm very much and I wouldn't mind being challenged by some trivia on it. Not that I know much about it, but I would know to what extent I ignore its history and lore and learn it in the process. I'm sure there is much I don't know. One tends to know more about the elves, I guess.
I also like Númenor very much, although I just started learning something about it.
I failed one easy (number of companions, but that question is not so accurate) and two hard questions (about Dis and Gwaihir's wounds)

Based on the movie, wasn’t Ori the youngest? So the answer to the youngest dwarves would be Kili and Ori
26/31 but I think the answer to question two is incorrect. Gandalf had clearly warned dwarves that if they did not hire burglar Bilbo their party size would be 13 and all the bad luck with that number. Gandalf never considered himself part of the main expedition, hence 14 (13+1) should be the correct answer, and not 15 (13+1+1). Also, Blibo's contract said, he would receive 1/14 of the treasure from Samug, not 1/15
I forgot "Dis", "Durin's Day", "Golden Harp" and Troll names, but remembered the answer to the bonus question.
Does anybody know where the dwarves names come from? And that of Gandalf, by the way. It is quite interesting.
I have 27 and those that i failed at least i got a part of the answer right, like the trolls i just remembered Tom'name, and in some others the phrasing of it got me confused, but im very proud of myself.😊

Great! Got 28 right. Forgot the name of Thorin's sister, his instrument, and one of the trolls. I said Bert, Burr ( from Butterburr i guess??) and Tom.
I'm disappointed that I got 8 wrong but Fili & Kili's Mother was acceptable to miss and I agree that Bilbo made #14 sooo... let's call it 6wrong! lol Great video!
Gandalf is not a part of Thorins company, just an advisor
i only recently purchased the books and i also think the trolls' names don't quite fit, hella strange
i tend to good at the deep lore questions, names of swords, king turgon of gondolin etc, but i falter at '' what instrument does x character play''. funny, i enjoy these
and im sure the golf thing is from the concerning hobbits chapter of the lord of the rings, the fellowship of the ring, not from the hobbit as far as i remember
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I try to get a good mix of plot details, deep lore, etc.
And the invention of golf does come from The Hobbit (An Unexpected Party) about 25 pages in depending on your edition if you want to review it yourself.

@@MiddleHearth I should mention that this information can be found at the end of the chapter "An Unexpected Party" and in the beginning of the following chapter, we are told that none of the dwarves got the breakfasts that they had ordered (tragic)
gandalf was not a part of thorin and co. gandlaf tells him if he won't take biblo then have 13 and all the bad luck you want. clearly gandalf was not a part of it. 2 wrong
The amount of ppl in Thorin's company isn't there 14? Two ideas, you wouldn't count Thorin because it's His company, right? And/or Gandalf is at the table at Bilbos home and said, "you asked me to find the 14th member of the company. jw
