Lots going on in and around Palmanova as the season starts.
We went down today to have a look at the Book Fair, which is part of the St George's Day celebrations.
A stage was set up with entertainers keeping the youngster happy, games were spread along the promenade to keep young and old captivated, and lots of stalls selling, an promoting, books.
We bumped into lots of people who have been watch our channel, including a lady from Stoke-on-Trent!

Happy St George’s Day to you both. It’s my beautiful English Rose daughter’s 28th birthday today. It’s also the birth and death date of William Shakespeare.. just thought I’d share that with you. Lovely to see a nod to celebrations where you are. Best wishes.
Happy birthday to your daughter. The Spanish writer, Cervantes, also has the 23rd as the day of his death. In fact, neither actually died on 23rd April. Shakespeare's date was recorded on a different calendar and Cervantes actually died the day before, but both in 1616. Amazing what you learn doing this.

Thank you for another lovely walk. We were in Palmanova last year staying in Tropico Hotel. Coming back this year to Globales Panama just wondering if it's far away from the beach as Tropico is at perfect location. Overall Tropico is lovely not really up to date hotel, but very quiet and this location just cross the road and you're on the beach. Have a great day.

Hello Steve and Anita Saint George’s Day in Zeebrugge Belguim is de celebretian of the Raid on Zeebrugge 1918 .Last Saterday and Sunday De Royal Marines. City of london Branch come every year to Zeebrugge we have the Saint George Memorial by the celebretian are many older soldiers there is a parade a ceremonie and after the parade a reception and diner

The old airport, before our time, was at Son Bonet. It is still used for light aircraft and helicopters.
When I was young, many years ago, Dragons were everywhere, now you rarely see them...I blame St George, and thats why I joined the RSPCD (Royal Society for Protection of Dragons)!
