You are very brave, I couldn't shave it but it HAS tempted me, I just keep it short for now...
I shaved my head for fun once and when I wanted to feel more feminine I found that really big earrings and makeup did the trick :) I also obtained some Beenies for the winter. I’ll bet you could massage your scalp as it grows back w oils/thickening conditioners. Hope you enjoy it, I really did
Shaved my head 11 months ago. I had NO idea it would take SO long to grow back. I look horrible but I love the laughter it brings for me and my husband. No more hair dye, no blow dryer, only organic shampoo and healthy oils. It's like new, perfect, soft, SHINY hair. No more nasty hair that I have to blow dry or flat iron to get it to look good. Going to keep this hair healthy. So glad I did it!!! Wouldn't do it again.
I love the haircut at the universally understood "my bangs are long enough now that I can get it all cut to the same length and have a bob" point hahaha... I've shaved my head several times in my life. I'm currently at a similar length to like week 44 (happy that's also the cute cat pic week) with awkward short layers in front and long layers in back that aren't intentional enough to be cute... every day I fuss around with a ruler in the mirror trying to imagine how long it might be in time for my brother's wedding in 5 months so this gave me hope lol
I totally didn’t get why she cut her hair until I read your comment! Duh! That makes so much sense. I just grew my hair out after my last shave July 2019 and now my hair is definitely long enough to cut at an even length. It won’t be a cute little bob, but that’s ok! And I hope you look great for your brother’s wedding!
@@galaxylucia1898 haha yess it's an important crossroads in the growout journey, whether to finally chop to an even length or to hang in there and keep growing out the mullet... the mullet/shag/wolfcut look is very in now so I think it's easier now if one is strategic (mine feels super awkward still because it just doesn't fall right to look like I have a cool intentional shag so eek) also thank you !!!

I wish I would have documented my hair growth journey! I'm at 18 months now from fully shaving my head and I was tempted to cut it when it got to the stage of looking like a mullet lol. I didnt and its passed that point now thank God lol. Lovely video!
Thank you. It’s been literally a year now since I shaved my head when my country was in lockdown. It’s nice to see what stages my hair will be going through in the next year, roughly like your hair did already:)
I truly respect women who maintain their hair anywhere past 'week 30' from the video. As a guy, I grew my hair out during a phase in my teens, until it was about shoulder length. The sense of sheer freedom and cleanliness that I felt after cutting it all off one day, was astounding. Having all that stuff hanging down over your forehead, and beside your face, all the time... I couldn't imagine doing that for years together, and that's forgetting about all the maintenance required to keep it in good shape.
Wow, unbelievable, I started growing MY hair 14 month ago and they just reached shoulder length. But I started with nearly 5cm of lenght. Anyways, you look good with every style you had during the past 24 months....
@@williamhowerton744 I do not think that this is much. Hair growth is about 1 to 1,5cm each month. So 14x1,5cm is already 21cm. Starting out with 5cm I reach 26cm what is about shoulder length.
Girl your hair grew fast! And looked nice at all the stages. I had almost a break down over my hair after neurotucally chopping it and now i got it fixed and in maybe 6 months it'll be where I want. Just curious if and how often you got little trims?
@@knezfikol5010 I was about to say the same thing. People forget that while keeping your hair healthy is important, genetics also matter too. I'm Hawaiian/Chinese and the women in my family have thick and curly hair that goes pass our waist. I got a 9 inch chop once and within a year and a half roughly 8 inches of it had grown back. Some people just have hair that grows crazy fast.
@@ohia_lehua Oh yeah, same! I'm half Moroccan and my hair usually grows about 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches) within a year, even if I cut off split ends in between. Most Moroccans have quite thick and dense hair that grows fast, so I have to thank my dad's genes for this one :D
You are soooo pretty! As someone who is massively insecure about their hair, this video weirdly made me feel better. Idk why or how. But you're incredibly pretty. I wish I had hair like yours.
I don't know why I get this in my recommendation but I wanna say thank you. I've been contemplating to shave off my hair due to my scalp psoriasis. I was planning to do so for easier application of the cream medication but I still don't have the courage because I know I'm going to be stressed out even more if my hair don't grow out. I think this is my sign, so thank you
I had serious scalp psoriasis a few years ago and have been using a liquid medication called clobetasol propionate. Not oily and much better than creams and you apply to scalp after washing it while hair is wet for best results. Try it. May work for you too. Last time I went to the dermatologist he couldn't even see that I had psoriasis anymore. Now I use it only when the scalp starts itching. Good luck.
I had a chemo in 2020 and it took me until this month precisely to appreciate my hair again, the length is back the way it was. 2 years and a half seems to be nothing, but it can affect a lot the self confidence. Anyway, I'm happy
Love the kitty cameo! Very cool to see this from a woman’s experience! Way too many guys doing hair videos out there. And you rocked the no hair / short hair styles!
It's taken me a year and a half and the back of my head at my shoulder and the sides and top reach the end of my face (mind you I have loose curly hair)
@@icantsee0 ayy i have curly hair too, and i’m debating whether i should cut it short or not, i cut curtain bangs last year (so around ear length) and now it’s at chin length soo idk lol
you pull off every style!! and this is super helpful bc i’m writing a book and my character shaves her head and i need to track her hair growth so tysm
😲 WOW .. This is a beautifully put together video! And the dedication to take a pic every single week for 2yrs is beyond it! I just cut my hair again to top shoulders... I did it 1.5yrs ago and it grew few inches to my butt. Before that my hair was past my butt.. My hair grows like a weed! Prob bc I don't wash it more than 1x a week bc of dryness, my hair doesn't get oily until 2wks when I tested how long I could go.
The one thing Ive always hated about growing my hair out is all the in between periods where no matter what you do to your hair you cannot make it look good lol. Anyone who's grown their hair out more than once knows exactly what I mean. Those are the times that I usually wear a hat of some sort.
i shaved my head about 1.5 years ago now and we’ve had the exact same growing process.. same hairstyles and everything, and even cut out hair at the same time haha. excited for my hair to grow long now!
This actually helps me realize that it takes time if I want long hair 😅 For some reason I get discouraged that my hair barely grows past my shoulders, but I think it's because I'm too impatient
Neato video! I’ve been growing my hair since March 2020 because I didn’t want to risk it during a pandemic and I wanted to see how my hair looks longer. I’m approaching shoulder-length!
I had to shave my head for severity of covid and I compared my hair growth with yours for last 10months.it gives me hope,my hair will grow back to its prior stae in shaa Allah. And you are pretty❤️
I used to be very depressed about my hair after it had gotten cut very short. After waching this video I realized that it would be better in a year, now i love my hair and i love your hair too
You are lucky your hair grows fast. I had the front half of my hair shave off for brain surgery in January 2021. Its 20 weeks behind yours in terms of regrowth length. Weirdly the rest of my hair still grows fast but at least that means I've been able to grow out the colour I had just before my surgery. Still kind wishes they had shaved to the whole thing off but hairdressing wasn't my surgeon skill set (not that I'm complaining, he was a great surgeon which is more important).
I'm going in for brain surgery soon too ❤️ glad yours went well. I feel the same. I'm more interested in the surgery going well than my hair looking nice after but maybe this will be my chance to try out a buzz cut lol
Of course fascinated by the hair growth and her rocking every style but can we talk about how amazing her skin is?! I didn’t see any acne or breakouts a minute into this video so far. Whoa.
Also started with a buzz cut 1,5 years ago. It's hard to bring yourself to get a shape up after growing it out for so long, you just don't want to lose any length

LOL - I just reached for my ruler after reading this. It made me happy to see the growth from now till summer time.

Where did u shave ? Salon or barbershop or parlor or home?
How did u shave? Using trimmer or razor ?

I literally just watched the first time lapse and to see that this was uploaded today is so cool
You are the kind of lady who looks gorgeous with a bald head or knee length tresses. Naturally flawless ❤❤❤😊
Wow, she is very brave, standind like that for 2 years without even moving
lol
A warrior 👏👏
I wish I had known that these lockdowns would last for 2 years. I really should have shaved my head back in January 2020.
I thought the same thing but went short at the end of 2020. Best decision ever, I loved it 🥺
OMG sweetie me too
Me too 😅😅
What lockdowns? life’s been back to normal for most of this year now
@@rwjisdabest1 I know but in our country we still have restrictions
I love how it showed that you went throught the stage where the back was so long compared to the top of the hair. the correction feels like a big chop
I wish I would have documented my hair growth journey! I'm at 18 months now from fully shaving my head and I was tempted to cut it when it got to the stage of looking like a mullet lol. I didnt and its passed that point now thank God lol. Lovely video!
Can you believe we actually used to cut our hair like that on purpose ? 🙈😂
@@pwallace5359 the mullet looks so goof
Low-key wanna shave my head
@@Milk-zg3sr only when styled
So does it grow back thicker?
14 months and it is shoulder length? Either you have super fast growing straight hair or not telling the truth.
Exactly hair growth is clearly that of a healthy person.
not that fast
Know people who'd in 2 years grow even longer hair
Who cares, it’s just hair, as long as it’s clean and groomed enough then it doesn’t matter
Your hair is gorgeous sut I have to say you REALLY ROCKED that shaved head
0:17 omg this is so pretty! It feels soo retro
I saw this video before. At least a year ago. Everyone was talking about her superb side-profile.
It’s a new video unless she made another one a year ago.
You are soooo pretty! As someone who is massively insecure about their hair, this video weirdly made me feel better. Idk why or how. But you're incredibly pretty. I wish I had hair like yours.
Love how the cat just suddenly appears then fades right away
I don't know why I get this in my recommendation but I wanna say thank you. I've been contemplating to shave off my hair due to my scalp psoriasis. I was planning to do so for easier application of the cream medication but I still don't have the courage because I know I'm going to be stressed out even more if my hair don't grow out. I think this is my sign, so thank you
Hell yeah, your hair will likely grow out much healthier too since your scalp should be healthier !
I shaved mine and i love it. I feel so free!
Hell if you feel down about it get someone to install a wig on you 💁🏽♀️ let the natural hair grow out 🤍
Good luck!!!
Many cuts during those two years. Ultimate HUGE improvement.
Love the kitty cameo! Very cool to see this from a woman’s experience! Way too many guys doing hair videos out there. And you rocked the no hair / short hair styles!
Always a fan of the shorter hair styles and don't think we didn't notice you sneaking that adorable kitty in. :P
The fact that each hair style suits you like hell!
MY GODDDDD
you are so so beautiful ❤️❤️
Ikr she's gorgeous
Your hair grows so fast! It took me 7 years to grow mine to shoulder length from my ears after a very wrong hair cut!
Jeez
@@Cucababy5It took so long to grow.I haven't had scissors near my hair since I moved out of home 5yrs ago x
It's taken me a year and a half and the back of my head at my shoulder and the sides and top reach the end of my face (mind you I have loose curly hair)
SAME it also took me like 6-7 years.
I had a mental break and shaved of all of my hair recently. This really helps❤
I'm at the 20 week mark and don't completely hate my hair. Looking forward to week 40. I think it will be super cute then
I hope I can do it one day 🥲
Why do you think mental breakdowns cause people to shave their hair? Does it symbolize a new beginning? Is it letting go of all the baggage?
@@familytv9585 it can be anything really. For some it's what you said, for others it's self destructive behavior
@@athmaid yes, you have a point. I guess it’s a combination of all those things.

I loooove week 1-4. Always think its such a bold and beautiful look on a woman to have a shaved head 😍😍 i keep telling myself i’ll do it one day…
Just do it! 🥰🥰
As a man, I can say short hair looks better on most women. If I were woman, I wouldn't die without trying it.
your face literally matches with any style
She literally went through every hairstyle of the female lead in every movie from the 80's and 90's
The one thing Ive always hated about growing my hair out is all the in between periods where no matter what you do to your hair you cannot make it look good lol. Anyone who's grown their hair out more than once knows exactly what I mean. Those are the times that I usually wear a hat of some sort.
exactly!! but my school dress code doesnt allow for hats so I just went to school with some of the wildest hair lol
@@hadley2810I waited until I left school to grow it

i shaved my head about 1.5 years ago now and we’ve had the exact same growing process.. same hairstyles and everything, and even cut out hair at the same time haha. excited for my hair to grow long now!
This actually helps me realize that it takes time if I want long hair 😅
For some reason I get discouraged that my hair barely grows past my shoulders, but I think it's because I'm too impatient
Omg week 53! You look absolutely stunning throughout the whole video though🥺
IKR WEEK 53 WAS SO CUTEEE🧚🏻♀️
Now the comments section will be filled with all swooning over your beauty😂
She is absolutely gorgeous with short hair, she reminds me of Trinity of Matrix ❤
She looks absolutely gorgeous with her head shaven on the first week. That could be a stellar shot in some high fashion magazine!
This is basically a two year flex, being able to pull off every (appropriate) hairstyle under the sun.
I hope anyone reading this is having a wonderful day. Stay safe and spread love ❤️

0:18 THIS LOOKS AMAZING
My daughter has done the same after shaving her head for 10 yrs. She just needs it styling now.
This is so beautiful! Your hair really grows up very fast!
Just seems like that because it is straight
Did anyone else just fall in love with her? Lmaoo. She looks angelic.
I love this as a reference for hair growth. It feels better knowing my shaved head can be a mullet within 20 weeks. That's like, no time at all!
feels like scrolling through different hairstyles in the sims
I used to be very depressed about my hair after it had gotten cut very short. After waching this video I realized that it would be better in a year, now i love my hair and i love your hair too
Watching this makes me realize that our hair grows quickly in a week than we think
So well created!! Respect to the process it took and dedication behind this seamless piece 💞💞💞
Not a lot of women can pull of the week 0 look but u nailed it. It's actually my favorite look of yours 😮
The hair of week 47 and 48, i'm in love.
i keep watching ur hair growth videos bc i shaved my head 2 months ago and i desperately want it to gro
literally every stage is such an amazing look
Loved it! Your hair is beautiful!
It's amazing how much of a difference hair makes. You look like an entirely different person!
