Big Life Changes in Hawaii

Hey everyone,
I'm in Kauai. Not on vacation. Not here to make a video.
There has been something going on behind the scenes for the past few years, and we feel it's time to give you a real time update on a major change in our lives. I will let you in on what's been going on and give you a small window into my childhood, while hiking the Sleeping Giant trail here on this incredible island.
We know this is pretty different from our normal content, and we appreciate y'all sticking with us through this.

This is why TH-cam is so great, the ability for just regular people to pick up a camera and talk about anything. And here’s a guy, in Chicago at home by himself, just wanting something relaxing on TV, and boom, randomly this video pops up. Enjoyed it, and I feel your pain, my father died recently, sounds like your dad looked forward to being with the Lord, and is now I’m sure immeasurably happy. 😊🙏🏻

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting your mother today at happy hour while on our honeymoon. From our brief encounter we could tell she is a special person. I went to high school with your dad and remember him as nothing but a stand-up guy. We were in the same youth group "New Life" together and went on many adventures through our high school years. I definitely lost track of him but was happy to hear the story of your life with him. Thank you for sharing and I'm very sorry for your loss.

Love you so much, my amazing nephew. And, even though (or maybe because of) my sister was your biological mom, I have always, always been incredibly grateful to the Dooley family and then to Jim for embracing you as they did from the beginning and providing you with love, stability and all the safety and opportunity you deserved to grow up with. I'm also forever indebted to your mother's kindness and willingness in allowing me to be a part of your life all along. I'm so sorry for you, your mom, your brother and everyone who loved Jim. He was, indeed, an incredible person and I know he'll be missed tremendously. Thank you for honoring him and sharing your heart with this video. Much love and many hugs. ♥️
