Nice! It brought back memories growing up in L.A. I remember going to Watt’s Towers on a field trip along with the Helm’s Bakery tour. I liked the first p,ace you went to with all of the beautiful tile work.
Hadn't heard of Helm's Bakery. Just looked it up. Wikipedia says it closed in 1969, but there's a link to a website for the Helm's Bakery District that includes stores and restaurants (including a new Helm's Bakery "coming soon"). We shot a few other segments for this video that didn't make the cut, including Alpine Village, which is already closed and demolished since we filmed there about a year ago. Crazy how much history gets demolished and forgotten.
