Save sex for marriage, and you can experience the full power of pairbonding, which gets burnt out if you spread that power around. Yes, it is worth it! I have been on both sides of the equation. I was not a Christian for most of my early adult life so did what I wanted (it has plenty of sorrow). Such a solid message. I spent much of my 20s in sexual sin. After getting pregnant at 28 I turned from that and committed to being celibate til marriage. Once I got engaged at 36, we tried to set good physical boundaries but much like your on ramp analogy, we should’ve never got on! Now I’m 40, and going through a divorce.
