Jess is 33-years-old, autistic, and blind. Her favorite topics of conversation include getting a new dog, her friend Keely, her Aunt Sue, and cousin Donna. Jess collects CD’s of children’s music, cards, coloring books, and has a small collection of used up disposable cameras that she refuses to get developed. Favorite health foods include chicken and rice, chicken tenders, chicken nuggets, chicken biscuits, pepperoni pizza, and hash brown potatoes. Jess has naturally curly hair that she would rather not ever comb, brush, or cut.
Jessica’s multiple disabilities stem from brain damage that occurred in-utero, and from hydrocephalus. In addition to autism and blindness, Jess also has minor fine motor and gross motor deficits. Hannah is Jessica's sister, and Marlow is Jessica's paid support staff (and Hannah's best friend.)

I used to take sign language classes in the community college ( 3 levels ) and a professor was deaf too. It was very hard in beginning to understand her but after a bit her classes got so much fun &I enjoyed coming to her class, and my classmates were great too, it was an awesome experience. But I haven't used the sign language in a long time, I pretty much lost it now, I just remember alphabet Only haha. Anyways. Thumbs up to this video and many more 🙂👍💚

Great vlog. You’re a great sister and you have an awesome family. Only problem I had with the video is that you talk so soft that at times it was hard to hear you and I had my volume as high as it would go. Could be my old ears. Lol!!

An introvert and your career choice? Most people think just the opposite of us. Are you BEI certified or certified yet? I think that the parents are the key with the NT children and your parents seem to have done a great with that balance. I think that feeling "sorry " for is more how that person remembers how themself or someone close to them was put off.
