    • @WMHinsch
      @WMHinsch ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sendthis9480 You'd be surprised how much fishnets and leather help when doing cyber attacks.
      Probably the most accurate depiction is the series, Mr. Robot.
      For when it was made, Wargames (especially the first half), was surprisingly spot on. Automated dialing scripts for finding modems, exploiting bad password security, educated password guesses over a period of time, bad corporate security at multiple levels, etc. Great use of the CP/M operating system to create many of the screens for the movie.
      "Takedown" is fairly accurate, though you should read Mitnick's book for balance.
      Live Free or Die Hard is over the top and out of order (you can't disable major networks, then use those networks for continued attacks), but I give it a bit of a pass because it is fun and illustrates worst cast scenarios for several different attacks, exploits, and scenarios.

    3:50 "Heeh, it worked" A very elated and masculine exclamation.

    If you've ever seen a person hit the ground from a large height, you'd know they actually bounce back up instead of just stopping.

    Not a rock climber, never climbed anything (other than trees when I was something like 12 years old), and I still remember watching this movie thinking "this doesn't make sense - what's their equipment made out of? That's not how physics work! Why are you doing dumb stuff? Stop doing dumb stuff!"

    Brilliant! Would love to see your analysis of the movie "Fall" (2022), it's a masterpiece

    Went to the movies once with some friends to chill after a couple days of partying and this was the P.O.S. we went to. I'm no climber, but after the first 5 minutes I'd had enough. Called what the end of the movie would be to one friend (she wasn't happy about that) and then mercifully was able to fall asleep. She woke me up at the end and just shook her head when I was right.

    As a climber this scene just dives into my worst fears like what if my bolts are made out of tnt? What is my rock is made out of styrofoam? Really tho, it made me educste myself on gear safety but even knowing that i still get uneasy watching the scene

    Please do more of these. Even do some old movies like Third Man on the Mountain or The Mountain with Spencer Tracy.

    "Amateurs at 12 O'clock!!!"
    Best line in a movie ever to set the stage for how bad and ridiculous a movie was going to be.
