  • I hope this helps many out there with this maturing Mazda 6 MPS, year 2006.
    AUX cable fitting video to show you how easy it is for a Right Hand Drive Mazda 6 MPS done within 5 minutes, one take too.
    This is with the standard 6 Disc CD changer (not MP3) Bose sound system.
    This is the easy way for Right Hand Drive where you remove the glove box panel, this is without pulling the whole dash out like other people do on TH-cam, mainly left hand drive Mazda 6's and MPS models.
    Example link below on where to get an AUX cable with the right connection to fit in the back of the Stereo unit.

    Hi there, I have tried to do this myself, but something is already plugged in and I am struggling to get it out, any suggestions??

    • @EuroGamer83
      @EuroGamer83  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gemm Leveridge Hi and thanks for watching the video.
      If something is already plugged in then do you have a Sat Nav or something else fitted?
      A Sat Nav is something else that could be using that port.
      To remove it may be a bit of a task and may require you to do what most left hand drive Mazda 6 MPS's have demonstrated on TH-cam.

    Would this also work if you wanted to steam Spotify over Bluetooth?
    (Also, I have a lefthand drive from 2005, don't know if that makes a difference)

    • @EuroGamer83

      Thanks for watching... I don't have the car anymore so cannot confirm if you connect the 3.5mm connection to a Bluetooth receiver then stream Spotify from mobile device will work, but can't see why not.
      Left hand drive can be done (use desired Search engine), but not as simple as right hand drive.
      Cheers

      Nitronap The Mazda 6 MPS should all have the same unit albeit the ones that have the MP3 / hdd units.
      Not sure why it wouldn't work maybe it's the cable you have and either the connection in the rear is not connected correctly or you have a loose wire there, also make sure the 3.5mm adapter sits into your phone / MP3 player properly too.
      Hope that helps.

      Hi thanks for watching.... USB stick cannot be attached to the system setup I have so can't really answer your question. It's either standard CD or the AUX into any MP3 device that has the 3.5 mm jack.

      Hi,
      I trust all is well and thanks for watching.
      I don't have the car anymore, but it was plug and play, albeit just requiring you to press the Media button and the display should read Aux.

      Cheers for watching, it is not hard from what I remember as I do not have the car anymore, but here goes....
      Open the glove box, then on the inside part of the box that drops down (the side walls) |___| pinch them inwards /___\ and this should allow you to pull it out.
      Note that this is going from memory 😄

    Very nice video and all the procedure is very well explained. Thanks for sharing. I have some strange problem and i could use some help ... The line-in cable is connected to my phone, i press the MEDIA button and i am listening to my favorite music. So far, so good. The problem starts when i also connect the usb power cable to charge my phone and listen to the music at the same time. Some strange noise (electrical noise i mean) starts hearing from the speakers.
    Do you happen to know why this is happening and how can i fix this? Do you have that kind of problem too??
    Ps: I like the sticker with the MPS logo you have on the dash. Where did you buy it from?

    • @EuroGamer83
      @EuroGamer83  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Terry Meynolds Thanks on the positive comments.
      The MPS badge was there when I bought the car, thought it was standard to be honest.
      I haven't charged my phone while connected to the AUX so cannot confirm, it may well be a few things e.g. the USB adapter, the cable, the charge input may be interfering somehow...
      I'll have to try this and update you if I have the same issue.
      Maybe normal due to the tech too.

    • @EuroGamer83
      @EuroGamer83  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Terry Meynolds
      I get the same issue, always used a power bank when needed hence why I never noticed it before.
      As said before it seems to be how the tech is / charge coming into the phone while outputting sound to the speakers.
      Workaround will be a power bank if required.

    • @dodosmazda6
      @dodosmazda6 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the feedback. So no matter what we do or what car charger we choose, we cannot avoid the interference. But using a power bank is very good idea. How did I not think of it?

      Hi Vaibhav thanks for watching....
      At very least it'll need to be a Mazda 6 MPS, other Mazda 6's may have different sound systems / setups....
      I can only guess but, if its not working for you it may be either the adapter and or wire may be damaged, not inserted fully (should hear a click), incorrect pins in the adapter therefore not setup for audio playback.
      Good luck progressing with this though 👍
