How to install and use Pure Bluetooth Kit for Mazda 6 2006, 2007 and 2008 model years. Using this kit you can take/place hands free calls and wirelessly stream audio. You can also use car controls to switch calls and answer/hang up the phone. This kit supports any bluetooth mobile phones including but not limited to iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, HTC, Blackberry, Windows Mobile.
While I didn't install a GTA Car Kit, I found this video extremely helpful for installing a basic aux adapter to the back of the stereo. Thanks for your great work!!
Is the stereo in the same area where the gta kit is being plugged into? Because I might just plug the aux adapter in

UPDATE:
I just installed this kit in my daughter’s Speed6. Install went relatively smooth. The radio gave me the hardest time pulling it out enough to give me the room to work on the back of the radio. Her car was also equipped with. The Sirius/XM radio and unplugging it was a bit tricky. I used a very small flat head to pull the Sirius/xm plug out and then i was able to plug in the harness for this kit. The sound quality is amazing with this kit and the phone works perfectly with it. Glad i bought this for her.
What brand kit did you get
I got the pure Bluetooth with aux wire kit from GTA car kits. It was about $140
Just installed in my car and my music sounds so much better than it would on an fm transmitter. I love it. People can hear me on the phone and everything. It was easy. My dad helped me so we installed it pretty fast. Video was very easy to follow.

Great video, even better product. Exactly what i needed was EXTREMELY easy to install this video helped a lot. Only downside was being Canadian and having to pay in USD basically doubled the price for me. So if you dont mind the price it's super easy to use and install took me about 30 minutes to have it installed the way he did in the video. Very happy with the quality of this product. Would recommend.

Awesome video. confirmed this procedure works. Omitted the microphone/auxiliary installation because I just wanted bluetooth. Hardest part was wiring the harness from the back of the radio in the SAME opening as he did in the video to the gta module. Very tiny opening and the radio is constantly in the way (my fat fingers didnt help). Other than that installation was a breeze. Bose speakers and eq options work flawlessly with this.

Very nice design, i have just one question. What if i'm listening to radio and i have a incoming call. Does it automaticly switch to the phone?
In phone bluetooth options you can set it to answer automatically.

So as far as the car is concerned, the input device is a CD player? But the CD player itself still works?

I don't see why it shouldn't work, the radio is the same it's just the speakers and amp that I think are different
I gave an 08 with the non Bose radio, just installed today and it works great.
@@lui5615 Did you need a special tool for the bolts inside the glove compartment or did you do okay with regular household tools?
@@SophiesSmokinSqueezebox no you need a 10mm socket and an extension to loosen the bolt holding the radio, be careful as it’s short and you don’t want that to fall into who knows where. You’ll also need a Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew 4 bolts (or 2 if you have the automatic ac) holding the front of the radio, so basically for me it was just 5 bolts. Let me know if you need help.

I'll see about borrowing the socket. Any other tips? My plan is to follow the video to the letter. Mine's a 2007, I don't think I have automatic ac.
I just ordered this kit but choose to get the cheaper non Bluetooth one. Will I still have to press the CD up/down ore will it automatically find the aux

will be able even the sounds from iPhone to pass through the car speakers? for example I want use a satnav from my iPhone can I hear the directions through the speakers or is just from the iPhone itself?
Is there anything in the back of the radio that needs to be unplugged or anything? When i try to pull out the radio, it seems to not come out all the way.
Can you use this and hook up sub woofers I have 2 12's and don't wanna buy the after market radio kit because it's like $200 all I need is a aux cord so I can play my music through my phone

I'm the second owner of my Mazda 6 for over a year now and I have an iPhone adapter that when I press mode a cope times it goes to EX 1 but now it doesn't go at all it just goes to cd the FM. Please help I can't go back to listening to just CDs and the radio. I tried pressing CD twice but nothing happens at all. help.

I have a 2006 Mazda 6, but mines stick shift. Does taking it apart follow the same rules?
Your would be a little different, you would have to see if your shift knob unscrews. Sometimes it has to be removed by unscrewing a nut or screws at the bottom of the shift knob. Otherwise it will be all the same. Thank you
