Love your take on thrifting. Not only did you find Tail, you found a phallic shaped cut glass dish. That's hilarious 😊. I was rolling on the floor during the haul potential uses part. All vintage brooches are awesome. They are silver and so are the rhinestone necklaces. Some of it goes for thousands particularly if designer vintage. Thank you for your humor and humility. None of us know what we don't know but few admit it. I'm learning daily too. I pick up all undamaged pottery from Italy and Portugal just because it is stunning. Yesterday I went thrifting and went into an animal shelter thrift store and found vintage brass candle holder accordian style folding thing with crystal chimney things for the candles, sells for a multiple of the $5 bucks she asked for it. It was$8 but she was sick of it hanging around. While there, I convinced a nice lady that her angel food cake batter would not fall out the the angel food cake pan she was buying. Much better for angel types than bundt pans...they are for just cakes. A fun day overall! Oh then I found a needlepoint pink flower with a pale blue background small work of art and in the frames, one that matched the exact colour of blue. All for $6. And that's Canadian money so I think that's only a couple bucks US.
I had to Google what “phallic” meant! Boy did I learn something new. I thought it resembled a penis as soon as I saw it! From now on I will say the new word. Lol! Thanks for the info!

Great finds. I'm thinking the dish is an artichoke. I think a pine cone would have a skinny end stem. Not sure what the cut glass piece is used for -- as a guess, maybe part of a condiment set (salt and pepper shakers would set in two of the slots).
That on glass that was thick that looked like an apothecary jar but thicker is great for by the bath with the bath salts I loved EVERYTHING IN THE FIRST PLACE AND YES ITS STILL SNOWING 🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️😩😩😩

I know you’re on a strict budget. But, try Ross or other discounted department stores. Yesterday I went to Ross found a pair of allbirds on clearance $23.99, googled it, retail price is $125 😮 I don’t know how much fees are for the sale sites you use, but I thought it could be an awesome return 🤷🏻♀️
