Good grief, Tim is fearless. He has some seriously strong Steve Irwin vibes.
Most of us who keep reptiles are the same I think. As Tim says its only a python not a big one so it's not much to worry about.
That's what I thought when I first saw him.
He played it so cool, made me laugh when he decided to use a stick not his arm for the second attempt, like duh should have started that way.

Sidenote on non-venomous snake bites: the saliva is ever so slightly an anti-coagulant. If you took a needle with the same curve as the teeth and all, and poked yourself with it, you would barely get a drop unless you squeeze. When a snake nails you though, it LOOKS like a bloody waterfall hahaha. Just wash up (as you truthfully should with any animal bite), and you're good to go.
It may bruise and swell for a day or two, but as long as it's not hot and red (signs of infection), a moderate-small sized snake can't do much damage on a tag... Unless it gets you right on the lip or something, I guess.
@Alicia Christian tag means the snake immediately let go, and australia has plenty of look alike snakes but a missidentify down under risks a trip to the morgue
soap and water is fine so long as you know the snake that got you is nonpoisonous, if uncertain head straight to the hospital

omg yes I got tagged by my ball python the bite itself wasn't worse than a paper cut but it just wouldn't stop bleeding XD I learnd my lesson and never put my hand anywhere near close her head when she is in food mode tho
As a guy who has been "tagged" by more than one garter snake, I can testify that the bite bleeds freely. No bruising or permanent damage, though.
I remember cayote from brave wilderness, got like 7 or 8 leeches on his arm, he wouldn't stop bleeding. It was as interesting as it was gross.
Not gonna lie this show is much better without the whole scenery and girls in bikini shots, we are just here to learn and see you guys save/help animals

Those shots are probably included because they're so close to Bondi Beach which is really famous, and the Bondi Lifeguards is also a tv show from that area. It's not "the Vet" show it's the "*Bondi* vet" show after all. The surroundings are what makes them significant and separates them from all the other similar vet shows. So in a way, the surroundings are needed, and as I said before Bondi beach is quite popular.
@Gregg Sinini they said they preferred it, not that you do or should my guy. If this is the kinda thing that makes you angry enough to write a comment that long, maybe take up a better hobby or cause. Try volunteering at an animal shelter or going out to a 3rd world country and helping build a village for people who need it or damn, just paint something to calm down or take a sedative lmao.

Amanda Harker you have some really bad animals and insects out there. i often wonder - did England send their “criminals” there thinking most would die anyway? {that’s a joke. :D }. it’s really scary. all we’ve got here in amurica are scorpions, the black widow spider, and a few snakes species spread over a large area. we have copperheads in the east, but all i ever saw was a shedded skin from a young one. keep safe. :) 🌷✨🌿🌸🌱🌼🌷

@@feralbluee Most Aussie kids, especially those who live in the bush and outback, know what's deadly and what's not. It's a lot less scary than people seem to think. I'm in the city so my biggest threat is whitetail spiders or redback spiders, but I'm so spider phobic that I surface spray my house to keep all spiders away. I've seen a snake once when I was at my grandparent's house as a kid and that snake backed away as soon as it saw me. The only other snake I've seen was a brown snake that was lazing in the summer sun when I was hiking with friends in high school (10 years ago) and that one didn't seem to notice us.

I see lots of comments about missing Chris and Lisa, I love them and miss them too but thought I’d also mention how brilliant Alex is and how much I love watching her!
I almost lost BOTH of my beloved dogs at the same time due to mushroom poisoning just a couple of weeks ago and I was totally heart broken that night. Luckily both survived, but the older one (13 years) was really close to death. They survived thanks to all the dedacated vets and vet nurses ❤💖
Ah poor kid! he already loved his new kitten within no time! I am so happy they got to keep him!
Where's the voice over of the man in the background? Bondi Vet with Chris, Lisa and Tim had a friendly, family, fun-feel but now a more serious and dramatic tone.
This is three clips put together, mota normal episode. The first clip is recent, also dont think it's been on tv yet, according to Google most recent Bondi Vet Coast to Coast was in 2019. 2nd clip is likely from Wild Life of Tim Faulkner, and 3rd clip is an old original Bondi Vet one.

Toxic mushrooms are found all over the world. Mushrooms 🍄 period can be toxic for dogs and cats and any other domesticate animal.

My puppy scared me to death when he ate a packet of espresso that my equally as naughty kitten knocked off the counter (my mom forgot to put the espresso packets back in the cupboard that day)
Thankfully the poison hotline was able to tell me that he didn’t eat a toxic amount but to induce vomiting anyways.
A couple weeks later he ate part of an oxygen absorber packet from a beef jerky bag. thankfully it was the non lethal kind and he did fine. He was only 3-4 months at the time. He’s 1 year old today and just returned home from a double hip surgery. Happy to report he’s still naughty but doing fine ^.^
He is a very naughty puppy as well as your cat.i really want one.

We have a plant that is mildly toxic to dogs and one our dogs has eaten leaves off it several times. Even when it made her vomit. She won't eat her food but she'll munch on a pot plant that makes her sick. Go figure.
If I was you I would remove the plant. Maybe put it outside in a garden or something. Your doggies life are more important. I'm just saying, dont want to start an argument.
@@lonely1f Ah we've tried putting it up higher but our big greyhound knocks it down haha The dog that has eaten it has only nibbled on it twice. It's only very mildly toxic so it only gives her a little bit of a sore stomach if she eats a whole lot of it at once. The only time she vomited was when she first tried it. Now we know so we stop her if she tries.

I love Golden Retrievers. I know what I'm *supposed* to comment but most all have done that. I'll just say "I hope he's having a great trip" in between vomiting spell. I've never taken "magic mushrooms" or peyote but they won't kill him. But I did see on another show one patient was either a Black Lab or Golden Retriever. He *loves* to eat the gravel stones from around their bushes and shrubs. Yes he was so full they needed to operate. And???? *He did it again* . The husband was angry because of the cost (but more fake angry). Trust him when he said they will use wood chips then said nothing. LULZ
Depending on the mushrooms and the quantity, yes, they could absolutely kill him.

Silly puppy, but just today 7 News had a story from Melbourne about a Golden Retriever pup who'd eaten a fork along with the dinner his people were making. Golden Retrievers and Labs will eat anything lol. I'm very glad he was okay :) As was the puppy who ate the fork.
Why isn't the latest Season 7 episode available to watch in Australia? And why is it on this video at the end if it can't be watched? I know there's no relevant law in Aus because I've been able to watch all the other episodes of season 7.

I love animals, but the host genuinely needs to stop the botox injections. They are not flattering to her facial shape. Working with all of these different animals is a wonderful and heartfelt gift to all of God's creatures. Botox isn't a gift. It's just a tad creepy. IMHO.😶

I've always wanted to be a vet and I absolutely love this channel. It made me realize that I have chosen the right occupation for when I get older no matter what people say or think. I get joy from helping animals.
had a cat who ate magic mushrooms brought in by a visitor and left. she was never the same but live 17 years. no vet within 100 miles and even then no small animal vet.

This happen to my family dog but it was chocolate and the tin foil wrappers but she ended have to go under surgery cause her stomach flipped but she is better now (it happened mid late February)
