The secrets of Scrap Brain Zone Act 2 - Sonic the Hedgehog

- Scrap Brain Zone Act 2 has a few secrets that may not be apparent to the typical Sonic the Hedgehog player.
There are monitors with incorrect IDs in some of the walls. I manage to break one of these and my reward is... nothing. Which is a shame. However, a tile from one of the electrical generators does show up briefly to the right, with the wrong palette, so that's something.
The Act plays hosts to a secret teleporter path. If Sonic is holding 50 or more rings, then teleporter will take you to a new destination. If you follow this path to the end, you can finish the level in record time.
However, while on this path, you can also see 4 Super Ring Monitors and a 1-up underneath one of the conveyer belts. In order to reach these monitors, you have to take a very tightly timed path across disappearing platforms on the lower path.
I spend over a minute trying to get the timing correct in order to access this area, destroy the monitors and claim my prize.

getting 100 rings at scrap brain is something ill never achieve
I've done it, and it all revolves around taking it slow and easy, and taking your time, so that you only advance when the coast is clear-- don't just rush through willy-nilly.
The real secret is how this mf only took damage 3 times

It's a monitor with the wrong sub type. They are used in a few places in Scrap Brain Zone 2, instead of invisible solid objects. I think this was a mistake when adding them into the object layout.
That is look like metallic madness in sonic CD
I wouldn't be surprised if Metallic Madness was based off of Scrap Brain Zone.
