Matthew, P&O has kept putting me and Lucy off for good reasons but we can’t wait for our rebooking in Sep ‘24. ‘23 is P&O-less and Ventura will be our final of its fleet. June

Thank you for your review of P&Os Ventura cruise ship.
My hubby and myself have booked a 7 night cruise on this ship this coming September. This is our first ever cruise. Infact our first holiday since 2008!!
We are both in our 60s.
I was wondering if you could tell me how easy it is to know what areas to go into that are included in our cruise?
I'm a bit worried that we will make silly mistakes and end up accidentally running up a big bill at the end because we went into the wrong eating place, or the wrong show!
And, one last thing...do the pools have easy access/exit steps or just ladders??

Oh that's so exciting I'm sure you're going you're going to love it!
In terms of included eateries it's the poolside grill, main dining rooms, buffet are all included :) all shows are included and the only extra charge spaces are the retreat and spa. However they'll always say what's extra charge and they'll never try to surprise you!
I believe the forward facing pool does, as does the terrace pool and indoor pools. But check with p&o to be certain!

We are on the ventura in Oct. Is there a cinema on there & if so,are they showing recent films?
Hope you have a great time! Although there isn't a dedicated cinema, they show some in the Theatre. They seemed quite up to date on our cruise!

What’s a “hagging kebab”? 🤔
It's one of the dishes they serve onboard, basically a kebab hanging off a hook! It looks very bizarre but would love to give it a go!
