Seeing those Amigas has inspired me to dig out my A1200 (I also had the A500) from under the bed, still in the original box. Upgraded with 50mhz CPU, floating point unit, 12Mb RAM, and a 2Gb hard drive.
I love that you pulled out D and even mentioned D2. Those games are interesting when you know the backstory of the development. Also they're just really unique and campy I don't hear a lot of people talk about them.
Hope you had a lovely christmas Gebs! Also semi related to the thumb, love your arm and shoulder muscles, just looking fit and healthy. Hope you and Jess have a great holidays
Prices are getting crazy. I love owning stuff but can’t beat emulation at mo, saves you fortune and I love the fact you can upscale games n play them on modern TVs or handhelds.
Great shop with a fantastic selection of games. I also loved the plastic box protectors the shop has. I saw them on eBay and have been undecided on whether to buy them, I'm going to buy some now. Thanks
I can’t believe I sold half a dozen PS1/Saturn games back in the day to fund the purchase of a then, latest HD ready LCD TV (720p). Looking at the latest value of those games is enough to bring a tear to my eye 😢
Great videos, just started watching you recently,as you are a huge turtles fan do you have the super cool tmht nes console? That system goes for a small fortune and its just a cardboard sleeve lol. Keep up the great work!.
Great video as always. Little tip for getting the residue off from sticky labels. Lighter fluid. It dissolves the glue in seconds. Obviously, only use it to get labels off plastic, do not use it on cardboard game boxes. Just put a little on and leave it soak for about 20 seconds, then just wipe it away. 😎👍
@TheGebs24 well, give it a go and see how you get on. 🤣. I work in the flooring industry and rolls of vinyl flooring sometimes come in to us with bands of sellotape round them. The lighter fluid gets the residue off easily. Hope it helps. 🤞😁
My mum still has our copy of Kula World, bought new in the very brief window of opportunity when they were available back in the day, its a really good game, but too difficult for me, never completed it.
Very nice to see some Amiga stuff there too :) Games without manuals, definetely would be better if the manual is there, because it was there when it was new, so it's not complete without it.
Videos like this make me happy and sad. I had 44 original Super Famicom games, all bought brand new and kept mint with super OCD care, boxed, Japanese leaflets, little original bags etc and I traded the whole lot in to ‘Terry’s Computer and Video Games’ in London, got about £250 🙈 I was gutted but needed the money for a car at the time, even kept the trade in receipt to this day. I still have the original console and all of them on other platforms but not the same. I wonder where they all are now and how bad condition they’re in 😔
Did you have any issues with your Neo Geo Gold X. I have the same console and cartridge. But I had to clean it because the rubber on the back starting to get sticky. I've also been thinking about trading mine in.
Definitely worth giving Combat Cars a spin, it was a good holiday rental from Blockbuster back in the day for me. Different characters that have unique abilities with upgrades to your car along the way help it have a bit more depth than Micro Machines. Still admiring your Blockbuster game rental case, looks great on the shelf💪 To have a time machine to go back and check it all out again ay?

Pirates on the NES also comes with a map, no manual and no map is incomplete, so not worth buying unless the box is in mint condition. also the Mario movie Toys are CARDED, not boxed.
I'm fine with no manual game if you would have to pay double the price to have it with it. I picked up the that Jurassic Park 2 with manual from Cex for 70 the other day. VGC. Also have a boxed Bikermice from Mars on the Snes on the way. Popped up on CEX same day as J2. I'm also at a quandary at the moment, I have a very nice amount of vouchers. Sorry to point out the obvious. You've run out of room. If I ever get even close to that level of condensing products i'll sell the fluff and use the cash against high end items that don't take up as much room. The average price of an item in my collection is £50, so not much fluff. I think its kind of scary that you might have more stock than the shops you're shopping in lol.
