It looks more like Cheshire the cat mated with a sea horse. I like it.

Watched part 1 and 2 back to back, loved how you showed checking Google for inspiration for the sea dragons mid section! Just shows even super experienced wood carvers still think about the noobs out there 😄
Certainly going to be giving this a go when ive got some hours practice under the belt!

Even experienced artists use references for their pieces. The same goes here so it's less about thinking about new carvers and more about just general artistic techniques regardless of level.

Music is fine I guess, but I would much prefer dialog from the carver.

even if the carver would speak Ukrainian?)

Well, I guess in that case music will have to be sufficient. Sorry, my hubris comes out all the time, just assuming that everyone speaks English, even the Bastardized version that Americans speak. Especially that I am assuming that you can read or understand what I am typing. You see, us Americans think that surely everyone speaks and reads and writes our version of English! Heck, we get confused when attempting to communicate to someone from the UK and that surely they would understand what we are attempting to say. You are very skilled, most especially with tiny details. I am very sorry that I do not speak Ukranian or some other language that you might easily converse in. God Bless and keep on carving! At least I can understand final result. Take.care my friend.

Hey i just subscribed and the videos are wonderful but maybe if you dont add any music and only the sound of the carving wood maybe it could attract more people as it could be seen as very peaceful video nonetheless i still love it (sorry though for bad english)
