I used this as base recipe but omitted onion and coconut and added a handful of whole green moong Dal while soaking and turned it into idlis. Turned out great and so easy to make. Thanks
Thanks for the lovely recipe. Tried quinoa dosa with cucumber came out excellent! I also tried using carrot and beet left from juicing, and was delicious. Just added little semolina for binding. My daughter loved the pink dosas.
I made this dosa for breakfast with slight variation. I didn't grind shallots,ginger,green chillies,and coconut along with the rest of the ingredients. I grated finely ginger, finely chopped chillies, shallots n coconut. Mixed with the ground batter. Made dosas. Turned out yummy. My son are just like that without the chutney. It was so good the finely chopped ingredients gave a nice crunch to the dosa. Thanks ma'am for that wonderful quinoa-cucumber dosa. ❤️

@Aparna E - Hi Aparna, I have messaged to Nisha mam too but I am not sure, this is an old video, whether she will see the msg and respond. I followed many recipes of her and everything comes out good and I make Dosa’s too very often as married in Telugu family but somehow in spite following the recipe as it is , my Dosa’s simply couldn’t be made, the bottom was sticking , it was getting dried up from top but when tried lifting , I had to scratch and it was rolling up like how when we end up making Dosa from wrong consistency or type of batter , not one dosa came right. But I still tried whole batter but none came right . I am reading so many comments like u that u guys made and it came out perfect , but all are older comments and saw ur comment from 3 months back so asking u if u have any idea why would this happen and what wrong could I have done .

Hello madam I am your fan. Basically your cooking style suits me a lot. Mine is also like yours. Due to time constraints, not experimenting. In the dosa recipe, I had soaked one handful of urdu dal and one spoon of fenugreek overnight and the next day made the batter and added to the quinoa batter. It came out very nicely and was very tasty also. We had it with our Kerala chutney. Thanks a lot madam. Good luck and keep going. Waiting for more and more exciting recipes from you 😘

Hi Nisa, I have tried both the recipes, dosa's taste is enhanced by onion chutney. I didn't have enough cucumber so added one half of Zucchini to the batter, it tasted very good. I cannot thank you enough for sharing such an easy and healthy recipe. Everyone in my family loved it!!
