    I go explore downtown Manama in Bahrain, and walk around the Manama Souk (also called Old Town, Old Market, etc). Warning - some of this video is pretty shaky - I have a bounce in my walk :-).
    And I need help pronouncing things. Otherwise, a fun video showing my day in Manama.

    • @fatimaj.99
      @fatimaj.99 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@elainemiley86 there's nothing like cheap gold...when you buy gold you pay for two things the design and the gold itself! The actual worth of gold changes everyday depending on the market ( today it's maybe about 13/14 BD which is about 37USD per gram )... Bahraini gold is 21 karat gold which is more expensive than 18 karta gold! To get the most value out of your gold you should look for the cheapest design.. they charge about 1BD-7BD ( 3-19$) per gram for design and sometimes more. Also in the recent years the government started taking taxes for each gram from gold designers so it's more expensive now I think.

    I love my country but manama was not used to be like this before 50 years ago or when i was a child .. it was beautiful and full of native Bahraini citizens, nowadays for some political reasons, manama is crowded with a bunch of Indians and asian people or foreign arabs, like they have the advantages of living here while we do not feel home at all.. so we usually stay in our quiet beautiful villages with our cultures away from this tourism city.. btw those foreign people sometimes give us intermediary more than the Bahraini managers to work in their companies.

    Is the taxi in Bahrain expensive? I would like to see a tree of life and first well, but it´s not within walking distance.

      Stanik PREROV - it’s cheaper to hire a car for a day than take a taxi.

      Stanik PREROV Bahrain is really small, renting a car and using google maps+ asking locals is definitely better than paying for a taxi that would charge you a lot for a really short distance
