Beautiful hotel the rooms have been done to a high standard food looked really nice I thought the price to stay there was reasonable you didn't have to go out anywhere else I would definitely stay there if I was going to benidorm thanks for bringing us this video paul

Over the years we have stayed in many hotels in Benidorm but the Ambassador Playa has always been our favourite, even more so after its amazing refurbishment, and of course the food can be enjoyed by every nationality, it looks as if the food caters to every taste! Stayed just before Covid. We have stayed 1 and 2. Loved it. Then there were no stag or hen parties allowed. Presume same. Hope to go back this year. Also loved the western bar attached.
We actually stayed here the week before the lockdown and before it was refurbished. Little did we know what was about to happen. We can remember sitting in the bar opposite the hotel the day before, watching updates in the UK. We had a brilliant week with glorious sunshine ☀️. The only thing that put us off returning was that the restaurant was so busy and very noisy on a few evenings. Since we couldn't find a free table, we decided to eat out. I can remember going into the covered outdoor pool and nearly passing out from the heat; it was like a sauna 🥵.
Going for 5th time on 22nd January, always around this period of time in this hotel. As you say Paul the food is excellent, rooms and facilities are brilliant. The spa is great to spend several hours and masseurs are wonderful highly recommended. Position is perfect for the strip. Stayed in quite a few places in Benidorm 1st time was 1975 Dynastic Park. Ambassador 1 and 2 are for me the best.
Me and my mates have stayed in the playa ambassador on many occasion on our annual jolly boys outing usually the last week of August for 7nights would definitely recommend the playa ambassador has to be one of the best hotels in benidorm x
This hotel you filmed was really lovely. Clean, modern and with a gentle colour scheme which is just right for a bedroom. It’s conducive to sleep with ‘easy on the eye’ colours & these are my personal favourites. You are now well practised Paul on your travel videos - it all flows so nicely. I always look forward to your posts. You did an excellent job in the restaurant and showed the food on offer and how it was presented. All good stuff there. Was at the ambassador playa 11 late may 23 for 10 days absolutely loved it first time to benidorm in 20 years £2,500 for everything hotel flights poolview and full board for 2 people. Food was beautiful hotel was stunning, staff were outstanding and loved it so much when landing back in Glasgow booked up again for end of may 24 cant wait this hotel is truly amazing yeee haaa here a come ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊

Great review,I stayed in April 2023 for a week and loved every minute, I priced a week in dec for £350 each for2 but partner couldn’t get time off. It has definitely gone up for this mar/ April time by a fair bit nearly £600 each for the week but still a lovely hotel. Will defo go back. Also looked for last sept and was £1600 each for a week 😮, so did a week in Florida for same price instead 🤷♀️
I've stayed in here many times enjoyed it every time the staff where very helpful the food was ok but the restaurant is to small for the amount of guests that are eating there the bonus is where the hotel is it's in a fabulous location 😊

A really impressive hotel, the room is gorgeous, lovely colour scheme and it's so clean. The bars look very inviting. Food very scrumptious and lots of healthy things. Great to see the sunshine it's been like the planet from Alien here😂 brilliant video as always. Love the pull out dryer very nifty 😊
Hello Paul i thought your room was fabulous, with most things that you normally have. Downstairs appeared really nice with a super lounge and entertainment areas. The dining area was nice and super food preparation looking very appetising. It definitely appeared to me to be a very well run hotel, and as you said with pleasant staff who were happy and helpful when required. On the whole Paul, i would certainly stay at the Hotel Ambassador. And as regards to the budget/cost i would be quite happy with that.😊
Was there last July....what I remember most was that in the restaurant at Breakfast time was the location of the good British style bacon. Now that was located at the top of the restaurant but at the side of the restaurant beside the eggs and the dodgy Spanish sausages was the equally dodgy Spanish streaky bacon. Had myself a lovely Bacon sandwich for Brekkie every morning ...fantastic.😊

Love this hotel,was coming every 6 months but the last 2 times I’ve came the price has gone up £400 a time,I just came back on Thursday but this time I got an apartment much cheaper but I really missed this hotel, going to the Rosamar in September

Hi Paul, we have been back 10 days . Ready to go back . Lol. Though you had our rooms 1616 and 1639. All the city facing rooms there balcony is slightly smaller. . Go earlier for meals, then you will have no problems . 18 euros is for a 2 hour swim. And this time of year there is no road noise what so ever. We couldn't hear a thing. . Ps, you didn't play with the light near the. You can change it from blue to green yellow. Purple white. Red . We had a different colour every night. Also, if you want to, but larger bottles in the fridge, take the bottom shelf out. . We paid £345 each fullboard for 2 weeks, including flight and transfers. Bargin. This year, it was £1120 each. We did have 2 rooms with 1 in a room and 2vin the other. . Half-board fights and transfers inc. . The chap singing in the explorer's was ed sheren. . I've been there 10 times now . Going somewhere different next time.

I have stayed in the Hotel in Playa 1 over the easter period a couple of years ago food was great, staff very helpful, I found the rooms a little on the small side maybe! I am booked in again for next June and the price including the tax for six nights half board for two is costing me nearly 800 euro not cheap but not as expensive as some as you say in the video. Oh and remember take no notice of the star ratings the ratings that you quote are from the Valencian tourist board not an international rating.
It looked just right for me and very important the food was good but you probably got the cheapest price of the whole year due to the time you went during the swimming season it would be far far more expensive because travelling on my own in oct i stayed in a 3s booked 10 months ahead and it was more expensive that that booking with the Hotel direct. Hello, we’ve only just discovered your vlog. Have enjoyed them, not sure where else you’ve stayed in Benidorm. We first stayed in the Flamingo Oasis. A bit tired but huge bedrooms, big bathrooms with double sinks, bidet, bath with shower overhead. All inc. Great reception area. Also stayed in The Corona del Mar, Pontiente side. Small hotel, very nice. Full board. Stayed in the RioPark, not keen as very tiny rooms & an even smaller shower room. Half board. We’ll be staying in the Don Pancho soon. What are your thoughts on the hotels I’ve mentioned? B&B the Wirral.

Stopped there when it just opened, fantastic stay and food. The only other thing was after you use the teas, coffee etc the cost is 5 Euro, don't know if that still stands
Haven’t stayed yet. All the hotels we have stayed at in Benidorm always have Spanish bacon and sausage ugh! Cheap cereal too, may have to give ambassador a try if better quality food
The hotel looks nice but the location for me is a definite NO, right on the busy strip on one side and the busy road on the other other (with no sun). Ive walked past it many times and often wonder if the guests realise its proximity to strip when they book it.
Apparently they thought of this when building it and once the patio doors are shut you cannot hear any of the racket from the strip or the entertainment.. thats what i was told anyways
I’ve stay lots of times it’s getting very expensive for a week in June it’s about £1100 each full board you can go to Tenerife all inclusive for the sane money in a 4 star

Depending on the time of your flights you can get the Alsa bus Which is 2 levels above once you go through exit the bus is on the hour from 7am till 8pm check the times online they may change in season, it cost about 17 euros each way return ask for your return when you buy your ticket but make sure you work out when you need to be back at the airport they run every hour and only stop at the bus station on the outskirts of Benidorm and then you get off at Avenida Europa just takes about 55 mins it's so easy or a taxi return Zip travel £140 - £150 return for 4 person hope this makes sense, the ambassador is about 5 blocks from the drop off
What a stupid question. Be it right or wrong, foreigners don't understand the distinction. To them we are all English, we are from Inglterra. Just live with it.

I remember staying at the Ambassador when it was called the Riviera and Reymar. At peak times it was very crowded looks like things haven't changed.

100 EUROS a night inc breakfast is brilliant. I recently stayed in a Premier Inn in Nottingham, that cost £440 for 4 nights breakfast extra.

Only one I have stayed at is the Rio Park, worked at Don Pancho's but will keep them im mind welcome aboard hope you enjoy the rest of the video's

Public transport level 2 Alicante airport it's about 19 euro return state time of pick up return the bus drops off and picks up Avenida Europa
