I’m sorry, but you don’t put carrots in the soup. That is not the original salchichon soup. We do put cabbage corn on the cob, sometimes potatoes, but that thickens it up too much.

Nope. That’s your way.. this is the way my Puerto Rican family has made it. Cabbage ?? Neverrrrr heard of that ever sorry !!!!!!!!!!!!
