Whew have I been busyyyyyy! Im in school , work full time, mommying etc you know, the norm lol I’m heading to my first BBQ this weekend and was asked to bring my famous tuna Mac salad 😀 this salad will make you come back for seconds lol if you try this recipe let me know in the comments!! ☺️❤️

Ingredients:
1 box of macaroni pasta
3 7oz cans of tuna in water
1 1/2 cup of Mayo
1 tablespoon of spicy brown mustard
1 bunch of green onion
Half red onion
4 stalks of celery
4 boiled eggs
Seasonings to taste :
Garlic powder
Black pepper
Paprika
Seasoned salt

Actually, there is a story as to why Puertoricans cook this dish. The reason why Puertoricans eat "Arroz con Salchichas", "Corned Beef", or "Arroz con Spam" is because in the "olden" times, they kind of had to. Not everyone could afford meat. So, when people could not afford "regular" meat, these artificial meats would be a replacement. When we made more money, then we could eat the chicken, cube steak, pork chops, etc. My Grandma told me this story. May She Rest in Peace. Puertoricans would eat like this in the 40, and 50s. They call these dishes "Comida de Pobres". A tradition in the old times, thst we still eat today. They are still a tradition in our tables, and sooo delicious!❤😊😊❤ ❤❤🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷

"Eyeballing" the temperature is REAL lol I do not use a meat thermometer and use the tongs to feel how tender the meat is, works for me! Making this tonight!

Looks delicious. Frying is one of the best way to cook pork chops IMO.
So you said 7 to 10 minutes on each side. Is that for soft chuletas or crispy. I like my chalets soft. Thanks in advance. By the way, I got really hungry when I saw the rice with the chuletas.
Hi Ness. Thank you for checking my video out. I have the oil pretty high, so leaving the pork chops for 10 minutes. Will make it crispy. If you would like them on the softer side, I would suggest turning down the heat on the oil that way it won’t crisp up quickly. if you have an electric stove, I would put it between medium low heat. You would just have to let the oil heat up a little longer before placing the pork chops in it. If you have a gas stove, I would put the heat around 4. You just want to make sure that the pork chop is fully cooked. If you’re unsure, cut the meat a little bit and look inside. There should be no pink. Hope this helps. 😀

Yeah you can. The pork just gives it an extra flavor but you're good with putting no meat in it.

Hi Daisy, thank you for checking out my video. I suggest seasoning is to taste. However, you can start with 1 tablespoon of each seasoning to start. You can adjust seasoning as you like. Hope this helps.

Hey thank you for trusting me with your food 💖 I always suggest starting with 1 table spoon of each. With the sazon, start with two packets making sure when seasoning the pork chops turn orange. I could of sworn I responded to this comment so sorry! Thank you so much for checking out my video! Yes, you could fry you shrimp with butter however, it will taste different. I wouldn't suggest it. You want the shrimp to take on all the lovely flavors from this salad. Plus boiling the shrimp is so much easier. Good Luck! Let me know how it goes when you make it. 🙂
I’m sorry, but you don’t put carrots in the soup. That is not the original salchichon soup. We do put cabbage corn on the cob, sometimes potatoes, but that thickens it up too much.
