I thought I was the only person crazy enough to put a giant micro castle motor in this by cutting the chasis to fit it lol. I should speedrun test mine on 2s also, been running it on 75% so I can kind of control it lol.
Find it hard to believe you got the electronics you say to fit considering placement of servo and all the electronics already being smashed into the stock truck
Could you list all the mods for us and what tires and wheels your using
sick. you're the first I've seen actually running one of these. would love to see rich duperbash take one to a skatepark
DO RC has had his up to 40mph on 3s
Hello world's fastest Grom. I smoked one of those motors yesterday😅. Gonna get another and try again.
DO RC has had his to 40 but that was on 3s. I'm skipping 3s and going straight to 4s today also have a 1/10 mamba x 6s in it now 😅
Sounds like a challenge sir😂
@@bustedaw11 I got 64mph with my throttle limit set to 80% . I'm not doing anymore speed running with it until spare parts become more available
@@OmniMan_Racing
Thats an awesome speed for a small/squarely rig!
what's the KV on the motor Great Vid !
How did you get it that low?
I am looking at the Spektrum Firma Brushless Motor/ESC 2-in-1 Combo, 6000Kv to throw in mine. Hoping less weight helps a little.
I tried this and snapped the output shaft

I'm not using a castle motor. Im using a Xteam motor from Amazon and now I'm using a 1/10 mamba x ESC. Got it up to 64mph
OMG LOL @@OmniMan_Racing 64 mph is insane for this little truck 😆
@@blobcsgo7190 yeah pretty much uncontrollable at that speed. I also had my throttle limited to 80% because I couldn't put the power down
What tires are you running? I put a titan 550 and xl5 esc in mine and now all it does is violently spin the tires😂
I have had it upwards of what looked to be about 35-40 but still had more to go
How did you fit a 550 motor when the stock 380 motor already sits against the floor of the chassis
I run 1/10 touring car wheels

Or you have a 1/10 granite and you got confused thinking this was a 1/10 granite too
Nice what kv is it?
