Jackyl Wounded Warrior Tribute @ Michael Ballard's Full Throttle Saloon

- Jesse Dupree has a very special ceremony for combat wounded Marine CPL Todd Love. Todd love, He is a triple amputee. USMC Cpl. Todd Love served a total of four years in the U.S. Marines. He deployed to Afghanistan on May 25, 2010. Five months into his deployment, while on a patrol along a dry creek bed, Todd stepped on a pressure plate improvised explosive device (IED). The explosion signaled an ambush from enemy forces leading into an intense firefight. After an hour of combat, he was medically eveacuated. As a result of the blast Todd lost both of his legs and his left arm.
Todd said, “I’m glad it was me and not one of my buddies.” He was overwhelmed and humbled by the prayers he received from his community. Todd currently lives in his specially adapted smart home in Douglasville, GA.

i would like to say thank you to mr. nallard for promoting jackyl every year at sturgis. i watched this tonight crying my dad was a vietnam vet and there are many things today that it has taken years for me to get him to open out about. he was a mash unit surgein. stationed out of deridder la/ unit 115. i had bought him jesses bourbon because he said that they used to get a group of guys together and have some spirits and play cards and talk about there lifes at home. i remembered the bourban as a gift and to this day he says jesses bourbon was some of the smoothest bourbon he has had in a long time tonight i sent him an email with the clip of the tribute. ill let you know what is to come i hope this will open greater things up and maybe let him see just because i have an odd look on my face does not mean i am not listening and thank you to jesse for all you do for the veterans and to promote your music and your spirit line in decatur ullinois now lets see about getting some saloonshine here in decatur i know a bunch of takers on that one. thanks for all you do and i agree bigger is better. i always dream of working a fundraiser with you all for leader dogs for the blind but who knows i am still a young chic it still may happen. susan

David Collins I have to disagree. How many of them were there because of the Marine? If you want to honor someone you do it with the largest audience you can. This is a great way to spread appreciation for our Veterans!
