Its insane how difficult games are back in the 90's and early 2000s. Xmen, Ninja Turtles, Battletoads... Heck even games like Hercules, Aladin, Battle City and Ice Climber and anything else I can think of was super difficult lol.
There was so much of the gaming world I missed out on in my mouth. So glad for emulation and the internet helping me to capture those experiences, and recapture them in some instances.
I remember the first time I beat Apocalypse, I thought that was the end because he was the title villain. Then Magneto showed up and we had an entire new section of the game, it blew my mind. This was a very pleasant gaming experience of my childhood.
Same. The only thing I didn't like about this game was the fact that Apocalypse is too easy. You'd think he'd be a nightmare as a boss, but it was the opposite.
I remember playing this game and spiderman maximin carnage back in the days, it was so freaking hard, at no point I feel powerful as a mutant lol, one dude with a knife can take so much of my health.
I have more memories of playing this than I do most other snes games. I’m 35, played all the classics, but this one and super Metroid and Turtles in Time were the jam. And obviously contra 3 and castlevania 4 but that goes without saying 😂🤦🏼♂️

Poor Wolverine at the end:( Imagine what is in his mind with all that girls, especially Jean, and with Cyclops visor as his keychain and Gambits deck of cards as his souvenir, after he barbecued them:)) After that, he and Beast can have a drink, with Bishop an argue, with Jubilee a migraine and with Storm a life lesson.
Logan was actually 5"6 not 5"3 (he was sometimes taunted with the name "little man" but was at least taller than the game suggests) and his mutant ability was healing, not the adamantium claws. He wasn't born with adamantium. His healing factor allowed him to survive the experiment that fused it to his skeleton.
I know its made by them and I shouldn't expect any different. but it does amuse the hell out of me how much everything functions like a mega man x game.

The X-Men game (don’t remember if it was this one) is the only game you literally had to reset your console to win. That was frustrating to figure out. But after reaching to a point a million times, what do you have to lose. Metal gear a bunch of years later said reset the game… felt stupid that day. 😂
Geez I remember I could only beat Psylocke and Gambit’s stages consistently. Wolverine I was okay at, Cyclops if I was lucky, and Beast just wasn’t happening.
Rushing home from blockbuster with my brother to play this bring back heart warming memories ❤️ miss ya bro rip

SNES had alot of amazing games. Missed playing them.

Great memories. Sadly we will never experience these days again.
I was back in the day really shocked about the graphics of this game, also a fan of the X men in the mid 90s.
The floor falling on Psylocke is full of PTSD.
Wolverines sprite for his mid jump is so exaggerated and straight from the comics, amazing and hilarious.
You’re making this game look a lot easier than I remember 🤣
