The piano minigame is a pain due to poor hand eye co-ordiantion, but atleast when I messed up I felt like it was still my fault, but this mess truely felt like it was just rng making it utterly painfull.
Almost went sideways there on my end briefly, but still managed to eek out a win on my first try by re-upping my trebuchets and adding one more cleric. Felt like highway robbery how easy this strat made it, and I couldn't be happier.
This mini-game is so annoying the devs responded by adding an easier difficulty toggle for the first three stages but they don't give you the option in this last most difficult battle.
You are a saint. I was basically just looking at the timer and copying every move of yours without even paying attention to what was going on in the battlefield 😂 worked like a charm! Thanks

It might be because the troops you're fighting against are not the same as the ones shown on the video. I searched 15 min for a video with someone fighting the same troops as me. This was the one.

Let me ask a question, the line keeps moving right back to behind the rocks for me so I can't plant the trebuchets. I have guys up front in event territory so what causes the line to move back?

Wound up having to modify this strat because the AI was being way more aggressive against me than it was against you and I wound up losing with him one hit away. Wound up having to deviate at about a minute in but it still gave me a solid starting point.
So the answer was spamming siege weapon all along

Welcome, there is a difficulty spike from stage 3 to 4 of the FC battles I've noticed
Idk what's wrong but all my seige weapons are dead with on hit and then I can never get my postition back...and I'm on normal difficulty...dumb
if you're having trouble with this, you can change the game's difficulty to easy and it'll make the process smoother
This guide worked 0% doing it exactly the way you showed. My siege shit died immediately no matter how many times I retry using this video.

the line moves back when either side has an enemy crossing the median threshold

Yeah i had notice, that the AI likes to switch things up from time to time.
Its the easy playthrough.
This was done while the game’s difficulty was on normal, playing on easy increases your ATB charge speed
