The X-men are my favorite team. Love how they can always change up the roster to make things fresh, explore different relationships, and see how different members lead.
Doesn't the Extinction team meld with the overall X-Men banner that came in at #1? I'd like to hear the logic on separating them and The Five for their own entries, please. But kudos for including the Avengers Unity Squad, that was a great roster and the inter-team dynamics were very well written.
I grew up in 80's with the Claremont-Byrne, Claremont-Cockrum runs of Xmen. It was Cyclops, Phoenix, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Storm, Colosus, and young Kitty Pryde. These were some of best storylines...Hellfire Club, Jason Wyngarde/Jean Grey Dark Phoenix saga, Days of Future Past, and God Saves, Man Kills graphic novel. Incredibly written & incredible artwork too! I felt this was a super tightnit Xmen team. I also loved any periods with Emma Frost, Beast & Magneto on the actual team!

I come to think of it now that the marvel multiverse is expanding on the big screen and more sagas are coming I guarantee that there will be more spinoffs depending on the connection. Speaking of spinoffs If they were to release Avengers Unity Division on the big screen it would be a spinoff of the avengers film series that's ongoing right now because we have different avengers teams. You know it's fun when things are connected.

My favorite X-Men team would be the team from the early 90s which was strategycally two teams at the same time, the Blue strike force lead by Cyclops and including Logan’s Wolverine, Psylocke (Betsy in Kwanon’s body), Beast, Gambit, Rogue and sometimes Jubilee; and the Gold strike force lead by Storm and including Jean Grey’s Marvel Girl, Iceman, Colossus, Archangel, sometimes Forge and later on Bishop.
I didn't know that "Beast" Dr. Hank McCoy was presently leading X-Force. I would Love to read this Storyline! 😁😁👊👊✊✊👏👏👏 I would personally Love a Solo Beast Series.
I love the Phoenix force too. Although I've been very annoyed through the years with them passing around the Phoenix force as some party favor and making just about anybody a worthy host, Jean should have been the only wilder of the Phoenix force period, that is what made it special. Lazy writing.
Rockslide was killed in the Otherworld. So when Krakoa tried to resurrect him, they knew first hand what happens when they resurrect someone in those conditions. Instead of bringing the 616-Rockslide, they resurrected an amalgamation of several Rockslide variants from the Multiverse.

Among the Phoenix five Emma Frost is the most powerful for me. Magik is strong but she lost to Scarlet Witch but when Emma came frost she just stared clint get burn by Emma. And She also K.O THOR.
Cable’s X-Force wasn’t like Power Rangers Time Force. They were like the Marines to the X-Men’s Peace Corp. Gerry Duggan’s X-Men run is just sad. He had a sadder Deadpool run until Alyssa Wong stepped in and said “hold my beer.” Nobody likes X of Swords or the Krakoa era. Large percentage of readers have currently dropped off mutant titles and X of Swords was the kickstarter.
If they would just let Emma have access on her T.K and showed is her Psionic weaponry, Technopath ability and her improved her Diamond Form being undestructable and have it access on her T.P and Unlimited Diamond Weaponry and Diamond Shield.
The Phoenix Five (Cyclops, Emma Frost, Namor, Colossus and Magik) once became so amazingly powerful during the AVX comic book event.
I wouldn’t say that’s a x men team tho and more a cult for the Phoenix who happen to be mutants slowly becoming more unhinged
