@@kayleymelissa if I could promise that we were letting tourists in by then I would say come to New Zealand! We have lovely beaches and super queer friendly and the right balance of chill and adventure.
My wife wanted to honeymoon 1. in another country and 2. on a beach. The first thing we Googled was “LGBTQ friendly countries + beaches.” We settled on Curaçao. We went in December and celebrated Christmas there at one of the fanciest restaurants on the island (pre-COVID). Everything was great. They have so many beaches we tried a new one every day.

I’m so thankful that you did this video! My daughter is gay and it took time for me to truly accept. I immediately told her that I support her and love her but in truth, I secretly hoped it was a phase.
A few years later, she confided in me that if I had not been accepting when she came out, she probably wouldn’t be alive today. That’s when I realized I couldn’t just “fake it”. I had to change my heart in order to TRULY accept her. So I increased my exposure: joined the Out & Equal group at work as well as other ally groups.
I hate this term, but by doing this video, you are “normalizing” gay relationships & gay marriage, which will cast a long shadow, even if you help change the heart of just one person. That one person might have a teenager who desperately needs just a thread of acceptance in order to keep going.
So… thank you!! I adore you both, and wish you many years of happiness together.

@@nataliegonzalez8274 I don’t think she’s saying or implying that she is or was homophobic. As parents we have a lot to worry about, it’s different for parents. My son came out as bisexual to me when he was 12 (he’s almost 16 now) and while I love him 1000% unconditionally and told him that I support him 1000% in my heart I was worried about all the people in the world that are not accepting and the ridicule and bullshit he might have to face. We just want our kids to be happy, healthy (physically, mentally and emotionally) and SAFE. The world can be such a hatred filled place and we just want the best for our babies.
I applaud your honestly and sharing that vulnerable time in your life. Your daughter is lucky to have you 🥰

As a wedding vendor, don't do this.
The amount of stuff I bring wedding vs event is vastly different.
Do this for things like chair rentals, bulk floral buys, but don't do it for in person vendors.
That's terrible advice. A wedding requires so much attention to detail it's very deceptive to do that. Imagine being hired as a babysitter and the mom says it's a 5 year old well behaved boy, and when you arrive it's triplets. It's wrong. Do that for things you can buy in bulk, not for services.

This is an unpopular opinion, but I don't think there is such a thing as 100% straight or 100% gay🤷♀️ I think everyone has had at least one experience/thought/whatever that deviated from their norm and it's totally normal to have confusing thoughts and experiences. Shoutout to Man crush/woman crush for making people feel less weird for having a degree of attraction to someone that doesn't fit their type. Some of us are lucky enough to find heterosexual love and don't have to tell people we have other attractions.
We are so genital driven it's seriously weird. We want to know what genitals everyone has and what they do with them and it really isn't anyone's business. It just isn't. So much guilt and shame and it's super unnecessary
I'd like to see a video on easy stying such as overnight styling that you sleep in or twist, clip, and air-dry type styles. I am a *very* lazy hairstylist!

I’m that parent that started telling my kids when they could start talking, “If you ever have the want and need to have a partner of the same sex please don’t hide that from us. Our promise as your parents is to always accept and support those decisions and we would want to meet the person just as much as if it was the opposite sex.” The one thing I never want my kids to feel is to be afraid to tell us something for fear of what we might think. That’s how my mom raised me and there wasn’t a single thing in the world I was to afraid to share with my mom whether she asked or I shared it without being prompted to share it.

Omg it must be a small dog thing. We call my pekinese Pomeranian cross. Part cat, part dog, art prince. We call him cat-dog sometimes.
Hint: when booking stuff don't tell them it's for a wedding. My friend booked a nice car for her wedding to take them to the hotel after, and she told them it was her anniversary rather than her wedding and snagged a $700 discount on the day price!!
Side note about figuring out sexuality- I always thought I was bi (and I am) cause I knew I liked everyone of any gender, but I wasn't super interested in anyone, turns out I'm a biromantic ASEXUAL! which made a lot of sense for me :D

Question: why don't you use thinning shears when cutting hair? Wouldn't it help feather the end out? (Genuinely curious cause I cut my own hair)
Cosmetology student here!
The problem with using thinning shears to cut the main haircut would be that they wouldn’t cut all of it, so you’d have these long bits just hanging around. Regular shears don’t have gaps for the hair to fall through (like thinning shears do), so they’ll cut everything to the same length
After cutting the hair with regular shears, you can go through and texturize if you want the ends more soft/not to look so freshly cut, but there are multiple ways to texturize (thinning shears, point-cutting, razor cutting)

Does styling it help at all? I roundbrush the ends, just dry most times, to bend them to my will ;) maybe curling or straightening it could work, or put it up with pins and headbands until it's a little longer?
@@tOzzBiatch Yeah I usually resort to straightening, or tiny pigtails. I'm almost past this stage now though, which is exciting. My hair grows so slowly thses awkward stages last a lifetime. 😅🙈

The thing about how people expect her to be tough but really Jenna is the one who walks the bugs outside and sets them free... ❤️ I got so teared up! My husband does that, too, even at 3 am if he's dead asleep and he hears me make the EW! IT'S A BUG! noise. (He used to play football in college, so people expect him to be at least a meat head, if not a tough guy, too... ) We are blessed to share our lives with people who value and nurture life like that. While I was playing with my hair getting feminine styles - for the FIRST TIME EVER because of recently discovering your channel - I was thinking I needed to swing by your channel to give a very heartfelt thanks. (I actually cried after using the cool air curler on my waist length hair and getting 'pretty lady' curls; don't even get me started on the cutest messy buns to ever exist) I had let your videos keep playing while I was doddling with my hair trying things you do in your videos and your coming out video came on. Lady....that was an emotional experience, you had me damn near balling on a few parts and my grandmamaness wanted to give you a big ole hug. I'd love to see a video on shampoo/conditioner bars and other more eco-friendly options for blondes/colour treated hair! I really want to take care of my hair, but have so much guilt since lightening it about my environmental impact. Hopefully I'm not alone and others could benefit from this too :)
Idk about for color treated hair, but the Viori shampoo and conditioner bars that she recommended have done wonders for my hair and theyre pretty eco friendly from my understanding. At least from the packaging point of view

I love her!!! And it's crazy how your relationship reminds me of my husband and me. I think I have a rare gem of a man. He let me know right upfront that we would be equals and he has never been grossed out by my period and is incredibly sweet when I have issues. He accepted me for who I am even though I was divorced and had a lot of baggage. He said "We all do. We can help each other." I'm so happy to see a couple in love in such a healthy relationship.
